Just fried rice with pocket eggs. Knowing how to cook is a choice in life. Especially if we are physically fit and complete. No matter how busy we are in life, picking up new skills like cooking is up to our own willingness whether we want to do it or not. The time spent going to restaurants (waiting-ordering-payment-journey home) is about the same as the time spent in the kitchen. But the sense of satisfaction (the smiles from your love ones, the time spent with them, how much your food taste has improved, the success of trying new recipes), these experience are incomparable.
Well, I’m not going to debate on which food is healthier or friendlier to the wallet bcs F&B these days offers wide varieties of menus to meet the customer’s demand.
Besides, cooking is a stress-release therapy for me. I find joy in cooking so I personally enjoy it very much. I love trying out new recipes, or invent my own fusion for my fam. And in today’s world, one have to be super independent to survive yeah. Don’t always rely on our mummy at home. She’s our mom, not our maid.
