最近總被問起台灣政治議題，以及很多人都關心香港。其實波羅的海三國過去也有相同處境😌

1939年，納粹德國和蘇聯簽訂《德蘇互不侵犯條約》，當中雙方秘密約定瓜分波蘭，並把波羅的海三國劃入蘇聯範圍。於是蘇聯在德國默許下吞併三國，開始了長達50年的統治。

這間23樓高的Viru Hotel是愛沙尼亞在蘇聯時代最具代表性的飯店，當時所有來自西方世界的政商名流、記者和遊客都被安排入住這裡。

房客們搭乘電梯只能抵達22樓，因為23樓是前蘇聯國家安全委員會（KGB）負責監聽和回報情報的地方。小房間門口寫著「這裡什麼都沒有」，但房內盡是令人咋舌的監聽設備。而頂樓則是KGB監探全城的視角，現在成了旅人登高賞景的好去處。參訪完最大的感想就是，自由誠可貴啊！

1989年8月23日，波羅的海三國人民共約200萬人手挽著手，連成一條600多公里長的人龍，串起塔林、里加、維爾紐斯三國首都，以和平抗議行動表達對《德蘇互不侵犯條約》的不滿，並要求蘇聯承認三國獨立。

如今波羅的海三國發展迅速，讓人很難想起他們脫離蘇聯統治、宣布獨立至今僅30年時間。比我還年輕呢！如果對這段歷史有興趣的朋友，在里加或維爾紐斯也有KGB博物館可以參觀，而且規模更大。

💡當天還發生小插曲，那就是我們沒有事先訂票，英文導覽場已售完。和旅伴討論後還是決定入場參觀，想說聽不懂沒差，至少可以拍照，感受現場氛圍也好。所以我們就亂入了芬蘭語導覽團🤣導覽員一看我們拿出翻譯機，笑說那她就放心了！
