#去左尖沙咀食左精緻晚餐

2 Starters

Spanish Pork Belly W/ Grilled Watermelon Sandwich (HKD108) 西班牙燒豬腩伴烤西瓜三文治 ($108)

The first starter was really blowing my mind! I was not used to cooked watermelons - raw-fish like chewy texture, and slightly even though tasted good. There was a grilled pork belly chop in between watermelons. Juicy, succulent & big portion - great taste, great price!

兩款頭盤，第一款是西瓜三文治，煮熟了的西瓜，雖然我不太習慣吃煮熟了的西瓜，但味道依然不俗，微甜而有些許嚼勁，中間夾著一塊豬扒，豬扒多汁，肉多又大份，超值；醬汁甜而帶微酸，第一道菜已經有驚喜。

「檳城」和朋友慶祝生日光顧去。想念他們家的甜點啦 ~ 這次終於吃到Tiramisu，酒味太濃郁了啦。 balloon cheesecake還是這麼的好吃 ，太喜歡了！

當然少不了主餐 - Paella西班牙飯，還有小菜 - Bravas Potato。更多請看回之前分享啦 ~

「檳城」 DePaella又回來啦，現在是在Soft Opening階段。 S編之前光顧過，也是S編第一次接觸西班牙餐的開始，呵呵。

在檳城一向比較少可以找得到西班牙餐，這次小編們來到位於小羊城樓上的DePaella，是一家專營西班牙菜的餐廳，可以吃到正宗西班牙的餐點。 還有來自西班牙Valencia的廚師呢。

第一道餐點是西班牙經典的湯點-蔬菜冷湯Gazpacho de Sandia(Watermelon Gazpacho - RM 10.99)，是用番茄和西瓜攪拌成湯，端上桌的時候是冰冰涼涼的，酸酸涼涼的味道很開胃，可是不喜歡吃醋的人就應該不會習慣這道湯，因為酸酸的醋的味道很明顯。酸酸的湯加上一同搭配的餅乾條，上頭撒了燈籠椒和九層塔，帶出了另一種香味，一起吃會更好。

西班牙的小菜(Tapas)種類之繁多，根據不同地區使用的食材不同，也衍生出各種不一樣的Tapas。今天我們吃到多以馬鈴薯，海鮮作為主角。首先我們先來個Patatas Bravas(Bravas Potato - RM12.99)，外邊是用馬鈴薯炸成的圓柱體，裡面有調好的馬鈴薯泥混bravas醬，上面再加上自制的alioli醬，剛炸好的時候吃，裡邊爆漿的馬鈴薯，帶點微辣，加上外邊炸的香脆的皮，真的很棒！小編們都很愛這一道！記得要趁熱吃哦，這樣外皮才會脆。

接下來是Almejas Al Vino Blanco(RM 18.99)，也就是白酒蛤蜊，新鮮的蛤蜊，加上自制的青醬和白酒一起烹煮，一端上桌得時候就聞到很鮮的味道，不止聞起來鮮，吃起來也很清爽，帶辣的青醬去除了海鮮的那一點腥，白酒又帶出了海鮮的甜味，小編們都覺得要是拿來弄成意大利麺也會很好吃。旁邊有類似泡沫的物體，其實是可以吃的泡沫，是青檸口味的。

有了蛤蜊，當然也有青口，Mejillones Escabechados (RM 18.99)，用白酒和esbeche sauce煮成，味道帶勁，搭配了一些炸薯片和炸粉絲，好看又好吃。新鮮的青口淋上酸辣的醬，跟泰式的醬又不太一樣，混合了酸辣甜的味道，一個青口足以在嘴巴留下久久不會散去的味道。

蛤蜊青口都有了，接下來該是蝦了，小編們吃的是Gambas ajoblanco(RM 20.99)，杏蒜大蝦（小編自己取的，有點像心酸大蝦）。的確，蝦子沾上杏仁調成的白色濃醬，再加上調配過的芒果顆粒，入口之後有點像椰奶的味道，和芒果的果香混在一起很清新。不過不是每個人都喜歡杏仁的味道，就像S編只喜歡沾芒果顆粒一起吃。

之前說到了我們吃的tapas都是以馬鈴薯和海鮮為主，海鮮的部分都完了，現在剩最後一道馬鈴薯，Tortilla Espanola (Spanish Omelette - RM 10.99)。小編看menu是寫西班牙煎蛋，可是小編吃的蛋感覺上比較像是水波蛋。擺盤很可愛，馬鈴薯泥壓成圓形的，上面擺一顆蛋之後再用醬汁拖出三條尾巴，感覺就像是在游泳的魚。不止賣相可愛，味道也很好，馬鈴薯泥和蛋一起吃，扎實得來又滑嫩，搭配bravas醬吃是一流。

吃完了Tapas也是時候來個paella了，我們吃的是三人份的 seafood paella (RM 76.99)，paella是西班牙燉飯，用一個大鍋加上海鮮高湯烹調而成，上桌的時候是連鍋子也一起端上去的，再擠一點檸檬汁，和海鮮拌一拌再分到小盤子裡，帶點飯焦的燉飯太香了，讓人忍不住一口接一口。飯里都是海鮮高湯的精華，濃濃的海鮮味帶點番茄的酸，配上非常新鮮的海鮮，讓人覺得每一口都直接吃到海洋的味道，如果趁熱吃味道會更鮮明。而且飯的熟度和焦度是可以調整的，想吃生一點也可以，想吃焦一點也可以告訴店家哦！

小編們覺得de paella的甜點都很出色，小編們吃了三款，三款都正中紅心。先來說說pecera de chocolates (aquarium of chocolate - RM 12.99)，pecera在西班牙文是魚缸的意思，顧名思義就是魚缸裡的巧克力，所以甜點的主角—黑巧克力球是用一種半圓形的器皿裝著的，旁邊用沾著紅色曲奇碎的白巧克力，弄成珊瑚的造型做點綴。黑巧克力球外面用可可粉滾了一圈，巧克力球本身則是濕潤的口感，帶點苦味，所以沒那麼膩。店家說巧克力球也是他們自己手做的，外面買不到哦。

除了巧克力，我們還吃了蛋糕—globo de tarta de queso (RM 17.99)，這蛋糕和一般三角形或是方形的蛋糕不一樣，是圓形的，店家將它譯為balloon cheesecake。平常我們吃的蛋糕要不就是有sponge base的，要不就是比較紮實的cheese的口感，這款balloon cheesecake 是屬於比較濕潤綿密，比較像cream的口感，或許可以說它像mousse。圓圓的蛋糕看起來很可愛，吃進口的感覺卻很成熟，cream cheese的味道香濃順口，吃一口蛋糕配一口Haagen Dazs 的藍莓冰淇淋，奶酪和果香混合起來留在口中的味道淡淡的，卻久久不散。

最後一樣甜點是cream Catalana (RM 12.99)，可以說很像creme brûlée，蛋奶香加上焦糖一直都是很好的搭配，店家很貼心地在蛋奶裡加入了青檸的皮還有檸檬葉，所以吃起來有一股若有似無的清香感，一開始還以為是哪種果香，經店家提醒才恍然大悟。小編猜這些東西應該已經磨碎混在蛋奶里了，因為我們都吃不出有顆粒的感覺。

寫了那麼長終於到結尾了，希望寫到這裡還有人看 tongue emoticon ，飲料方面小編只點了果汁(RM 11.99)和椰水(RM 6.00)，店家說陸續會加入雞尾酒之類的飲料，小編也覺得他們家的甜點配酒會很好吃，其實店裡現階段有賣紅酒和白酒，如果去的人數夠多的話可以點一支來喝。現階段還算是soft opening，所以菜單陸續還會再加入新的東西，至於店家會視當天素材供應的情況而定推出today's special，各位在點菜的時候可以向他們詢問。如果各位有興趣前往的話建議先打個電話去預定，當然walk in也是可以的，不過先預定會更省時哦。

for example，such as 和 like都可用來舉例，但用法有所不同。

1. for example 作 “例如” 講時，一般只以同類事物或人中的“一個”為例，作插入語，用逗號隔開，可置於句首、句中或句末。

-Van Gogh's paintings are worth a fortune. For example, his "Portrait of Doctor Gachet" is worth over $140 million!!!

-There are many excellent students in my class. Dennis, for example, is a brilliant student.

2. such as也作為“例如”講，用來列舉同類人或事物中的幾個例子。

-Some of the European languages come from Latin, such as French, Italian and Spanish.

-Boys such as John and James are very friendly.

3. like 也常用來表示舉例，可與such as互換。*

-Many warm-blooded animals, like/such as the cat, the dog or the wolf, do not need to hibernate.

但such as用於舉例可以分開使用，此時不可與like互換。

Please note that to most writers, "like" can be used interchangeably with "such." However, some feel that there is a difference between the two and this is sometimes tested on the GMAT.

"Like" means "similar to", and "such as" means "for example."

1. Can you buy me some fruit like apples or watermelon?

This sentence implies that the speaker does NOT want apples or watermelon; instead, he prefers some fruit similar to apples and watermelon.

2. Can you buy me some fruit such as apples or watermelon?

This sentence implies that apples and watermelon are examples of the type of fruit the speaker wants.

3. I would like you to buy such fruit as apples and watermelon for me.

This is simply a variation -- notice how such and as are separated.

Here are more ideas on the ingredients you can use:
• VEGETABLES – Beets, cucumbers, summer squash, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, celery, ginger, corn, avocado, scallions, spinach, arugula, basil, watercress, lettuce.
• FRUITS – Mango, watermelon, peaches, cherries, strawberries, apples, papaya, cantaloupe
• CREAMINESS – Yoghurt, silken tofu, milk or almond / cashew nuts.
• ZEST – Add fresh citrus juice (lemon or lime) or a dash of vinegar for a better, more complex flavour.
• RICHNESS – Add a drizzle of olive oil or avocado oil. Avoid coconut oil, which will harden if cold.
• FULLNESS – Add beans such as black beans, white beans, chickpeas, lentils and more to make it a filling meal.
• EXTRA KICK – Cayenne, minced jalapeños, garlic cloves, chilli, harissa, sriracha, tabasco or paprika.
• TEXTURE – Pulse very quickly if you like chunky soups or blend until smooth.

CHILLED MINT CUCUMBER YOGHURT SOUP (Serves 4)
1) 4 cups Cucumber, roughly chopped – 64Cals
2) ½ cup Fresh Mint Leaves, roughly chopped – 8Cals
3) 1 Garlic Clove, minced – 5Cals
4) 1.5 cups Greek or Plain Yoghurt – 225Cals
