1989: Joined in LIFE SOGOBUTAI Co.,Ltd. (formerly known as LIFE Bijutsusha Ltd.) located in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Pref. Autumn 1990: Moved to Tokyo.October 1992: Joined in Pacific Art Center Inc. after working freelance. Assigned to SHINBASHI ENBUJO (theater) to start a career as a tsukeuchi (tsuke percussionist). Since then, engaged in Kabuki performances in and outof Japan. August 2020: Resigned from Pacific Art Center Inc. Established T2Generation to start supporting cultural activities through tsukeuchi performance. Based on the career, trying various performances of art and culture by collaborating with others from different fields.
�Tsuke is one of the sound effects to emphasize the movements and power of the characters on the stage, which impresses the play more effectively. It is often used for the important scenes: when the main character is appearing on stage, changing his/her clothes, when the stage setting changes (stage elevator rises or a building collapses), and to highlight the effect of props.“Oto (sound) wo tsuke-ru” means “adding sound to the play”, which is the reason why it is called “tsuke”. The two wood blocks to make sounds are called “tsuke-uchi”. Tsukeuchi (tsuke percussionist) sits on the stage left (audience’s right side) where he makes sounds using tools, tsuke-ita (tsuke wood board)and tsuke-gi (two wood blocks).

HANAYUISHI TAKAYA
TAKAYA, as known as HANAYUISHI, is an artist based inkyoto who combines floristry with art and fashion to create one-of-a kind headdresses. Takaya has invented and developed a technique of tying living plants like flowers.vegetables.fruits.twigs.plants and even taxidermy into hairs to make highly unique and ethereal works - as he describes as a “unity of human and nature.”
Takaya creates his works on the spot,choosing flowers to with cloth or personality of the person. It is an intuitive and spontaneous work that it is almost impossible to plan the design ahead since flowers are living things every bloom is different.every stems has its own line.There is beauty of working with living plants as opposed to dried plants - as if Takaya intensifies the energy of the living plants.the result of his stylings are so vibrant and memorable.
Takaya shows his work through photography and live performance.
Performances are often held in unique locations like Buddhis temples and museums in throughout Japan and Sweden. He has been featured in numerous publications and broadcasts around the world, including Daily Telegraph, Glamour Italia, Holland Herald, and NHK World TV.
Takaya also collaborates with Yumi Katsura, a well-known bridal fashion designer for Yumi Katsura Grand Collection.

Started this week with a lot of gratitude and appreciation. A couple of days ago on Sunday, I attended the Beauty For A Better Life Class of 2018 Graduation Ceremony at Wisma OCM
.
Beauty for a Better Life is a wonderful program that provides disadvantaged young women a chance at a career in the professional beauty industry by giving them hair dressing tuition-free training. This program is a L’Oréal initiative worldwide and L’Oréal Malaysia chosen to collaborate with National Council of Women’s Organization (NCWO) and its affiliate YWCA Vocational Training Opportunity Center
.
How amazing it was to witness a group of young ambitious women graduating, not only from Beauty For A Better Life course, but also from a bunch of other vocational courses such Culinary & Bakery, Kindergarten Teacher Training and Sewing & Tailoring as well as Commerce
.
To top it off, attending the event was also YB @hannahyeoh , our Deputy Minister of Women, Family & Community Development, whom I’ve been dying to meet since our recent GE14. My voting daerah was Segambut, nuff said 😜. At the beginning of her speech, she decided to put aside her speech that was prepared beforehand, and speak from her heart instead. Her speech was remarkably empowering to say the least

大稻埕是台北最早發展的地區之一，過去因碼頭河流航運之利，經濟及文化活動十分活躍，有許多的特色建築保留至今，也有許多動人的故事。

Dadaocheng is one of the earliest developments in Taipei. In the past, there had many touching story because of pier river shipping benefit, economic and cultural activities are very active. Many architectural features have been preserved. Many of the traditional industries gather in this place. In recent years, there are many new career choices to Dadaocheng development.

大稻埕主題明信片共10張，分別為大稻埕 (具有特色的街屋建築)、粒粒皆辛苦(稻指稻米，埕指廣場，稻埕即為曬穀場之意)、希望(著名的城隍信仰與月老)、平靜(茶葉的貿易往來開啟貿易的榮景)、享受(許多南北貨的商家特色，有茶葉的輸出也有其他商品輸入)、重逢(永樂市場為布料批發集散地)、你好(在經濟發展後的娛樂事業以及傳統戲曲，目前有大稻埕戲苑作為傳統戲曲表演)、1920s (發起文化及社會運動的蔣渭水先生及當時世界各地的歷史人物)、勇敢(歷史上不同的族群在稻江這勇敢的乘風破浪開創新局)以及持續前進(我們現在在大稻埕所做的事)等內容，將大稻埕的建築及歷史以插畫圖像傳達，生動的描述一個地區的歷史。

Dadaocheng postcard including ten topic. Respectively, Dadaocheng( possess architectural features), every single grain is the fruit of hard work(dao means rice, cheng means square and daocheng is meaning rice drying ground), hope(the famous godliness City God and god of marriage or matchmaker), tranquil(tea business open trade prosperity), enjoy(many North-South goods have featured businesses, there have output of tea and other input goods), reunion(Yongle Market is Wholesale distribution center for the cloth),Ni-hao(after the economic development ,the entertainment and traditional opera have performances in Dadaocheng-theater ),1920s(cultural and social movements initiated by Mr. Weishui Chiang, and around the world historical figures),brave(historically different groups was brave to the wind and waves for open up new situation), finally, keep going(now what we do in Dadaocheng). We use the illustration image to convey for Dadaocheng architectural and historical and vivid description the history of a region. Not only with use graphics to express the beautiful of building, but also use the way of Set postcards and adding the notion of time to tell the development of a region, as well as many stories. Let more people understand the development of Dadaocheng by characteristic of rapid spread of the postcard.

每張明信片有大稻埕的建築外觀，也包含大稻埕的人文特色，用圖像表達建築之美，以一組10張明信片的方式呈現，加入時間的概念，訴說一個地區的發展，藉由明信片快速傳播的特性，讓更多人了解大稻埕的發展來由。

Each postcard depicts the architecture and the cultural characteristic of Dadaocheng. We express the beauty of architecture by graphics. As a set, ten postcards include the notion of time, to tell the development of a region. With the rapid spread of postcard, more people would understand the development of Dadaocheng.

Our Destiny

Eden Kai (16 years old) won the Grand Champion Overall Winner of the 2015 Brown Bags to Stardom talent competition and was also awarded 1st place Instrumental. Eden made history by becoming the first ever instrumentalist to be awarded the grand champion. He performed his amazing acoustic guitar fingerstyle instrumental song “Beautiful Stars” in the biggest talent competition in Hawaii involving all high schools on April 25, 2015 at the Neal Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. This popular event has been a household word in Hawaii since the 1970’s before American Idol or America’s Got Talent giving students an opportunity for stardom.

Eden joins the legacy of famous stars who got their start at this statewide high school competition like Bruno Mars, Jake Shimabukuro, Tia Carrere, Glenn Medeiros, Yuna Ito and others.

Special thanks to Johnny Kai, executive producer of Brown Bags to Stardom, helping to give kids growing up in Hawaii an opportunity to share their talents and gifts, and give them hope that their dreams of stardom can come true.

Much gratitude goes to Kaiser High School students, families, and faculty for their fantastic support and cheering! All the banners, cheering, and love you gave really means so much! Memories that will be cherished forever. In the past two years since moving from Japan, Eden’s creativity and talent have blossomed phenomenally thanks to everyone’s encouragement and school support! The amazing beauty of Hawaii, nature, and people really nurtures the creative artist soul!

About EDEN KAI:
With millions of fans around the world, Eden Kai has earned his reputation as being a ukulele and guitar virtuoso, a Pop/R&B vocalist, and an accomplished actor. While many were first introduced to Eden when he joined the cast of Netflix and Fuji Television’s Terrace House: Aloha State, the young star’s success had already been years in the making. He has since gone on to make additional appearances on Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020, appeared on Shiro to Kiiro on Amazon Prime and has performed at the Fuji Rock Festival (the largest outdoor music festival in Japan), Nisei Week Festival in Little Tokyo, OC Japan Fair and ANA Honolulu Music Week in Waikiki. Eden’s accomplishments have earned him interviews by NBC News and The Yomiuri Shinbun (the world’s most circulated newspaper).

His most recent album, Home Sweet Home, released in 2018 and was recorded in Tokyo, Japan, produced by his music label in Japan Victor Entertainment. Three tracks from that album were featured in episodes of Netflix Japan’s Terrace House during the show’s Opening New Doors and Tokyo 2019-2020 seasons. The series also featured Eden’s instrumental compositions of “Touch the Sky” and “Feel the Earth.” “Monogatari” was his debut pop vocal single, which he wrote and performed on the show. That music, as well as Eden’s past album releases, can be heard on all major streaming services and is available for purchase on Eden’s official website, www.EdenKai.com.

In addition to working on his own music, Eden has collaborated with some of the world’s top artists and producers, including EXILE and Dream. One of his compositions was used to create “Anuenue,” a hit J-Pop single recorded and released by Dance Earth Party, which landed at #11 on the Oricon Music Charts in Japan.

Eden also recognizes the importance of using his music to help others. He has hosted several ukulele workshops in Honolulu and Japan, been the featured performer at the Waikiki Spam Jam, benefiting the largest non-profit in Hawaii that feeds the needy, and the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival from which proceeds helped local children in the community. Eden has donated proceeds from some of his songs to assist humanitarian causes, including the support of a health center in Haiti and the purchase of educational materials for children in Bangladesh.
