【進手術房卻不真的開刀？假手術竟然也能改善膝蓋的問題？】

這次的影片要來跟大家分享的是芬蘭所發布的一篇為期五年的研究，針對退化性的半月板撕裂問題，接受手術與假手術是否對於症狀的改善程度有任何不同？

In research, there is an experimental method that participants are divided into two groups, one receives regular treatment, and the other just receives sham treatment. During the experiment, the sham treatment is made to resemble the real treatment. All of the participants and the researchers who assess the outcomes are blinded to the treatment assignment.

Interestingly, a lot of researches find those sham treatment groups also report positive outcomes; sometimes, their improvements are more significant than the regular one. This result is called placebo effect. This kind of experimental method is common in drugs or physiotherapy research, but do you know surgery is possible, and it could also have a placebo effect?

In this video, I’m going to share a 5 year follow-up of the sham surgery for degenerative meniscus tear research from Finland with you, and to see if there are any different results between groups.

前幾天有一位媽媽問說：「為什麼我沒打網球，醫生卻說我得了網球肘呢❓」
其實網球肘不是運動員專利喔❗️

今天🐑老師就來介紹「肱骨外上髁炎Lateral epicondylitis 」

📍「肱骨外上髁炎是什麼？」
俗稱「網球肘Tennis elbow」，因為許多網球初學者容易罹患此症狀，但是網球肘卻也是日常生活中很容易得的傷害。
👉常見病因：神經、肌腱、韌帶、軟骨病變所造成，當手腕伸展肌群（專門負責控制前臂和手部背側肌群的起點）反覆受力，而產生發炎，屬於上肢常見傷害，對於網球運動員或是特定工作族群，終生發病率高達40%-50%。

📖有研究統計，發現其好發族群除也包括：女性、吸菸病史和高膽固醇的人，學者認為網球肘可能跟慢性退化也有所關聯。

📍「Cozen's Test 阻力測試」
透過以下檢查，可以更精確的判別網球肘：
❤️步驟一：評估者用拇指固定受測者的手肘
🧡步驟二：患者握拳，前臂旋前，手腕上翹並往橈側彎
💛步驟三：同時評估者施與阻力，抵抗患者手腕上翹
若過程中肱骨的外上髁產生疼痛感則為陽性反應。

📍「那我們可以怎麼預防呢？」
1.良好的運動習慣
2.伸展手腕屈/伸肌
3.訓練手腕屈/伸肌
4.掌握正確握拍方式
5.選擇合適自己重量與形狀的球拍
6.盡量打擊甜蜜點，減少手臂負荷
7.適當休息與放鬆
8.攝取均衡營養與修復軟組織

⚠️長期讓肌肉低於正常負荷量
會導致肌腱的結構變弱，會使其更容易受傷和退化❗️

🎾因為網球肘的造成病因很多
建議疼痛的話可以至醫院做進一步的影像學檢查
確定病因對症下藥才好的快喔！
✨減少受傷區域壓力與適當休息✨
恢復的根本還是要從「改變生活習慣」開始～

Allen Iverson scored nine of his game-high 29 points in the decisive fourth quarter to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 100-93 victory over the Vancouver Grizzlies.

The win extended the 76ers dominance of the Grizzlies to seven games, their longest current winning streak against any opponent.

With Vancouver leading 85-84 with 5:21 remaining, Iverson completed a 3-point play to put the 76ers ahead to stay. The superstar guard added two jumpers from the right corner to give Philadelphia a 91-87 cushion at the 3:39 mark.

"I just got out and ran the lanes and my teammates got me the ball," Iverson said. "When I make a couple of shots, they just keep coming to me."

Mike Bibby hit a driving layup to keep the Grizzlies close at 95-91 with 0:34 left. But Iverson, Aaron McKie and Eric Snow combined for five free throws to put away the game.

"I thought (Vancouver) played great. I thought we played darn good as well," Philadelphia coach Larry Brown said. "We were fortunate to make the big shots down the stretch."

"We just don't have the depth from an offensive perspective to maintain continuity," said Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins, who spent three seasons as a member of the Sixers.

Matt Geiger had his best game of the season, scoring 20 points on 9-of-15 shooting. The 76ers' center is finding his groove after missing the first 17 games of the season recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.

"It's coming," Geiger said. "Tonight I hit the shots I've been taking all year and they finally fell."

Iverson scored five points during a 13-2 first-quarter run to give the Sixers a 23-8 lead with 3:39 remaining. The Grizzlies responded with a 12-2 spurt to cut the deficit to 25-20 at the end of the period. Bibby and Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored four points a piece.

The game remained close throughout second quarter, with Philadelphia taking a 50-48 lead at halftime.

Vancouver came out strong in the third quarter, scoring seven straight points to take a 59-52 advantage at the 8:37 mark. The Grizzlies maintained a 67-61 lead with 4:42 left, but Philadelphia closed the period with a 10-4 run to forge a 71-71 tie entering the final period.

George Lynch scored 10 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Sixers, who scored 23 points off 13 Vancouver turnovers.

Abdur-Rahim tallied 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have lost six of their last eight home games.

Bibby finished with 18 points and 13 assists for Vancouver, which shot 48 percent (40-for-83) from the floor but was outscored 23-12 at the foul line.

Bryant Reeves had 18 points and eight rebounds before fouling out with 33 seconds left in the game.

Anthony Carter explained his philosophy on scoring as he slipped on his canary yellow sweater vest.


"Points don't mean nothin' to me," the Nuggets guard said. "But I just love getting assists."

Carter did a little scoring and dishing as he helped Denver to a 113-103 win over the Orlando Magic on Friday night. He had 11 assists and tied a career high with 21 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter.

The fact that his previous best game also came against the Magic back in 1999 was merely a coincidence. Carter doesn't get particularly fired up to play Orlando.

"It wasn't about Orlando, just about winning," he said.

After the game, Carter's thoughts turned toward teammate Nene. Earlier in the day, Nene took an indefinite leave of absence from the team to take care of a personal medical issue. The team wouldn't comment further on what was wrong with Nene, who missed 22 games earlier this season after surgery on his left thumb.

Carter said he couldn't talk about what was wrong, but planned on calling him later.

"I'm very concerned," he said.

So was Allen Iverson.

"He's family," said Iverson, who had 21 points and 13 assists. "Life is way more important than the game of basketball. We just want him to get his situation straightened and get back to the team as soon as possible. He needs to take care of himself first."

Carmelo Anthony finished with 32 points and reserve forward Linas Kleiza scored 18 points on 7-for-13 shooting, helping Denver beat the Magic for the fifth straight time at home.

However, the Nuggets still have one of their worst all-time winning percentages against Orlando with a 13-25 lifetime mark.

"Overall, we did a great job tonight with sticking in our scheme and doing what we had to do," said Anthony, who also had 11 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season.

Dwight Howard finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds, his NBA-leading 33rd double-double of the season. Howard was also whistled for two goaltending calls in the fourth quarter and accidentally knocked in a basket for the Nuggets in the first half.

"It was a tough game," Howard said.

In more ways than one. Magic coach Stan Van Gundy thought Howard was being abused down low.

"They were allowed to do a lot of pushing and shoving on him," he said. "When you're Dwight Howard they give the other people ..."

Van Gundy didn't finish his sentence, just left his thought hanging in the air.

"I got a little frustrated toward the end," Van Gundy said.

Orlando entered the game as one of the best road teams in the league, but has now dropped two of its last three away games. The Magic play at Utah on Saturday night, their final stop on a four-game road trip.

Rashard Lewis scored 21 and Maurice Evans added a season-high 15 for the Magic.

"For 3 1/2 quarters, we were in a [heck] of a game and then they made more plays than we did," Van Gundy said.

And Carter led the charge. With just over 5 minutes remaining and the game tied at 98, the Nuggets scored seven straight points to seal the win. Carter had a 3-pointer, steal and an assist during the pivotal run.

"A.C. came up big, but he's been making big plays for us all year," said Iverson, who had five rebounds to give him 3,000 for his career. "It's something we expect. We pretty much expect everyone to make plays. On different nights, it's different guys. Tonight, it was A.C. He did a great job. He got us over the hump."

Game notes
Denver activated F Steven Hunter on Friday, but he didn't get into the game. He's been out since having arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Nov. 16. ... Nuggets guard Chucky Atkins underwent successful surgery Friday to repair his strained right groin. He's expected to be out for at least eight weeks. ... Despite the loss, the Magic still have the most road wins in the NBA this season with 16. ... Denver had 32 assists on Friday night. The team is 9-0 this season when it has 30 or more assists.
