Out of all the family pictures photographer Brad Elterman shares with the Gucci Community, his favorite is the glamour photo of his mom, Frances (the black and white studio image). “After college mom worked at Fox Studios for Irving Lazar and for the writer James Hilton. One day a photographer at the studio asked to take her photograph. Mom had no desire to be an actress. It was just for fun. I also love the daily life photo I took of my mom and dad staining the kitchen cabinets. They loved each other very much and were best friends. Besides family, art and especially LACMA was incredibly important to mom and dad. One night, they were photographed together at the grand opening night of LACMA.” Brad is thinking about the words his mom used to say to him during difficult moments, “she really was a guiding light for me. She told me many times that at the end of the day everything will work out. Things will be better in the morning. I have always remembered those words and I find her message incredibly calming today.” Brad is passing his time at home in a secret canyon in Los Angeles where he takes photos of “glorious tiny yellow and green breasted canaries in the garden. They sing to me each morning… ‘good morning Brad’.” The images of his family are a message of creativity, love and well-being in this time.

I've never been to Sicily but somehow when trying her dish, I suddenly felt the sand between my toes, staring across the aqua blue sea, at fishing boats reeling in the catch of the day, with other dishes, I found myself in the country, among the luscious fields or in a rustic kitchen with ripe lemons and jars of capers in open wooden pantries. Well spotting for Michelin Italy to honour Caruso the Best Italian female chef of the year, she's vibrant and passionate about her region and produce and this you can clearly taste. Also there's an individuality present which has likely come from experiencing and exploring other parts of Italy and the world. Until we meet again, maybe in Sicily!

I am not that much into Fine Dining Concepts nowadays anymore, as the epoch is obviously changing since 10-15 Years ago.. Environmentally, Sustainability wise & also Global Warming issues forthcoming. I don't know if I am being fair to Our Next Generations too, as this was like the Ultimate recipe I have encountered in 2019, but others might never get to savor it again soon 😶. Anyway I am still eating fairly good these days but evolving before it ends too fast, so I am also belonging to the part of the hypocritical group on Earth guilty as charged 🌎. Very sorry to say.. But I have chosen to put this into my memory banks 1st as record, and then do my best if others can still on occasion to savor it later on Special Occasions or Anniversaries.. 😎 ( Go Sustainable or Green by Proportion, but to Keep Our World alive 😟🌱🌱)

【イタリアン冷奴】
今日は夏になると食べたくなる冷奴のイタリアンアレンジレシピを作りました!
トマトに玉ねぎに塩昆布、そこにオリーブオイルとブラックペッパーをトッピングしたら完成!
超簡単にすぐにできるのに、この組み合わせ最強に美味しい!
おつまみにしても、あと一品にしても良し!暑い日にも食べやすい冷や奴なので、ぜひお試しください♪

絹豆腐 300g
ミニトマト 8個
玉ねぎみじん切り 大さじ2〜3

【Italian cold tofu】
Today I made a cold tofu Italian arrangement recipe that I want to eat in summer!
Complete with tomatoes, onions, salted kelp, olive oil and black pepper on top!
It's super easy and quick, but this combination is the most delicious!
