#HowToYoga: #Titibhasana
Assuming you have done your hips openers and hamstring stretches but still find it hard to lift off the ground... grab a pair of blocks!
Tip: whenever you want to lift off the ground, push your hands strongly into the block, draw belly in to lift.
Step 1: Eka Pada Bhujapidasana
Hooking one leg over the shoulder then lifting everything up. Hold for 5 counts then switch sides.
Step 2: Firefly prep pose
Getting both legs over the shoulders keeping both knees bent to find the balance.
Step 3: STRETCH, STRETCH, STRETCH & EXTEND your legs away from you. At this point of time you gotta keep pushing your hands into the blocks to lift your energy upward.

Crow pose! I remember taking really long to nail this (I actually got my Titibhasana first). The biggest reason for me not getting it back then was actually not leaning forward enough. It's the fear of planting my face on the floor but ever since I used a pillow to break my fall it helped me understand how far forward I can go without tipping over.
Another important point is to remember that it's an active pose. You engage your muscles to keep it up instead of trying to find a balancing point and hoping it'll stay there. Harsh but true.

📷 2) Using a pillow to help break your fall. You can also get a friend or your yoga teacher to support your shoulder as you slowly shift forward
📷 3) Not-so-ideal postures that might have hindered your progress (I forgot to explain why so ask me if you're curious)
📷 4) Palm placement is important in all arm balances, check check!
📷 5) Training for Crane pose (straight arms)

做起來比看起來簡單些
因為重心更低
比較好找到平衡點
但是起身需要比較大的動力
也需要不少核心留在那裡
