我一定是「曾經唱過歌」
知道唱歌的好處
所以後方要加Ving : I enjoy singing.
e.g. practice 解做「練習」
當我們說「我得練習彈鋼琴」時
我一定是「曾經彈過」
而現在要來「再做一遍（即是練習的邏輯）」
所以後方要加Ving : I have to practice playing the piano.
e.g. ask 解做「要求」
當媽媽說「我要求你上床睡覺」時
你一定是「尚未去睡覺」
所以才會被要求
所以後方要加to V : I ask you to go to bed.
e.g. be to V 解做「計畫去、預定去」
就是因為這個意思表達「尚未做過」
所以用的是to V : You are to blame.
e.g. like 解做「喜歡」
這個字光從「喜歡」二字是無法判斷「有沒有做過的」
如果我跟你說「我喜歡唱歌」
我可能唱過所以喜歡
但我可能沒唱過但認為應該喜歡
所以後方就兩者都可以： I like to sing.

以下是Longman Dictionary對這兩字的解釋：
enjoy = to get pleasure from something
會得到pleasure照理來說一定做過
所以接Ving應該說得通
like = to enjoy something or think that it is nice or good
字典也是直接說like有兩種可能
如果是指enjoy something 那就也是接Ving
如果是指think that it is nice or good 因為只是「用想的」所以接to V
我自己覺得還能分辨，不會太過刻意
不過這真的只是通則，不能適用在每一個字上
如果真的覺得很難解釋的話，就是還直接背起來比較省事
