很多人選擇遊戲的時候，都會想要考慮這個遊戲的評
價。亞洲玩家最常聽過的就是法米通的評分（例如38
分或入選某殿堂）。另外電擊雜誌評分也被拿來討論。
而歐美方面常被引用的媒體則是 ign 的評分，權威
性也挺不錯。但這些評分系統的問題是：單一家出版
社（或網站）的評分，它的立場是否絕對客觀？會不
會有一些偏頗的主觀評分出現？那這樣的評分是否一
直可信呢？
在這情況之下，業界出現了收集各家評分的評分網站，
名稱叫做 Metacritic；它的媒體評分叫 MetaScore。

計算方法是採集各家媒體的評分，再進行了加權計分，
之後公布在自己的網站上供大家觀看。當然他要採計
那些媒體，或是如何換算這些分數，並不是毫無爭議
的。然而，由於它採用的數量夠大，因此平均下來就
可以有效緩和單一媒體評分不公正的可能性。發展直
到如今，Metacritic演變為業界超權威的媒體評價系
統，已不是任何單獨一家的媒體評分可比擬的。

總而言之，現今的大趨勢就是，只看單獨媒體的評價
已未必可服眾，因此該 Metacritic 的加權指標成為
各大公司相繼引用的超權威媒體評價。玩家想要購買
遊戲時，不妨多等一會兒 Metacritic 的分數，而不
要只看一家評分就來決定它的好壞（除非是某些日式
遊戲，不發行海外版所以只有日本人會評論，那就只
能看日本發行雜誌的評價了）。
