MERDEKA Saree- The HERO of #TOGTHERWITHZHOBHA campaign Oh how emotional it was to have this Merdeka saree draped over me!!😭🙏🏽❤️🇲🇾 💯 pure Kanjivaram silk woven by weavers in India who worked tirelessly for hours on end perfecting this beauty The Merdeka saree is inspired by the Malaysian flag which represents the mighty stripes of glory embodied with national colours of freedom,independence and the royalty of a unified nation. The heavily embroidery border & pallu( tail of saree) embellished with gold depicting bravery & courage of Malaysia’s Bapa Kemerdekaan , Tunku Abdul Rahman, who fought endlessly to unite our fellow countrymen on the road to independence, above KL’s signature skyline. Thank you Pavithra of @kancheevaram_weaves_by_zobha for bringing this masterpiece to life & having me wear this wonder. And thank you @yogashyogg for doing justice & draping it beautifully 🇲🇾❤️
