"Pastor Prince, I first heard about your ministry some years ago when I was locked up in prison. My mother shared with me about your teachings on the gospel of grace and God’s love for me. I would love to tell you that when I got released from prison I ran back to God and started living right, but I did no such thing.

Drugs and alcohol had such a hold on my life that it seemed as though I would die with a needle in my arm or a bottle in my hand or both. After many bad decisions, I was at a place where I had reached rock bottom. I had failed at being a wife, mother, daughter, friend, and person. I was completely lost and broken.

One day, I remembered your sermons and began to watch them daily. They filled me with the hope and knowledge that Jesus loves me and died for my sins so that I can be brought into His family. I realized that God was not angry with me and loves me more than I can imagine.

Today I have been free from heroin for two years and alcohol for over a year. I have seen my life change dramatically just by trusting in God and being conscious of His love for me instead of being conscious of my sins. The Lord is continually changing me from the inside out and helping me grow.

My relationship with my parents and son have been restored in full. I also have a wonderful, godly man in my life who prays for me and watches your sermons together with me. We plan on getting married and buying a house soon. I’m also planning to go back to school to become a paralegal and help others who are as lost as I was.

Thank you, Pastor Prince, for your ministry. I still listen to your messages daily and have been deeply blessed by them. They have brought me back to the love of Jesus, who saved my life."

MEDIA STATEMENT: ACT AGAINST "PERIOD SPOT CHECKS" IN SCHOOLS

1. The current trending issue that has been going around on Malaysian students (former and present) are sharing disturbing stories of period spot checks and sexual harassment in school during the month of Ramadhan. Having to prove to their teachers and higher ups that they were on their period also means having their private parts touched without consent (on the context of teacher and student relationship) as well as having their panties removed to show their menstrual pads. These form of intrusion and violation of inappropriate touching, personal autonomy and body shaming through the excuse of ‘disciplinary punishment’ but in reality, it was entirely sexual harassment and abuse of power. A school or educational institutions should create an environment where students can be at peace of mind and feel safe from the secular world outside.

2. The fact that this mortifying misconduct is still happening to our students now without any measures being taken against the perpetrators is disgusting! We must stand together and put to an end of what seems so shockingly common in our society. The trauma and mental stress of being groped and touched without consent can be shattering, leaving the victim feeling traumatized, depressed and ashamed. Trauma has lasting effects.

3. Making the decision to report misconduct like such or sexual harassment takes a great deal of courage. I applaud those who gather every ounce of their courage in speaking up. Your voice is needed for the safety of other students in school and future generations to come.

4. I call upon the Ministry of Education to take prompt action and investigations by relevant authorities in ensuring that the safety of our school students will be the top priority. As schools are supposed to be conducive sanctuaries where students can feel safe and confident, let us not shatter that part of trust from our girls.

5. Sexual harassment has no place in a school. If this persist on, it defeats the purpose of an educational institution entirely.

For those of you who don't know me well, including my close ones. I have been through 7 relationships, which means I fell in love 7 times. Every time I go through a breakup I repost this "People come and go, most of them just walk by. Life moves on. But some day I wish just one will stop by. Then, life goes on."

I don't stop. I don't stop working, I don't stop learning, I don't stop loving. I will always love hard and always harder. Love myself, love my family, friends. Love everyone, love those whom do not feel, love those who temp me to fall the most. For love has no limit, and knows no boundaries.
