Last month, I've received the @swanicoco.my Fermentation Peptine Eye Care Cream for review purposes and I've been using this for about 2 weeks especially in my evening skincare routine.
.
When it comes to eye care products, I prefer to use watery serum compared to cream as my undereye area tends to get oily over time and eye cream tends to make my lids even oilier or worst, just sitting on top of my skin; not absorbed well into skin and goes into my eyes which happens many times with the ones I've tried before hence eye serums or lightweight eye sleeping masks suit me better.

It's true, most days I don't like to put on make up, simply because I hate removing them. I remember a long dark period when I was so stressed with my work life balance my hormones were screwed and my skin got so sensitive there were breakouts every now and then and my skin was just so coarse the lighting guy had to do extra work for me to look decent on camera, so I feel u if u told me u have problem skin. The worse I felt about the condition the worse my skin got. I looked after my diet, I tried all sorts of skin care products but nothing helped or they helped for a short while and then the problem reoccurred. I felt devastated. The fact that I work in front of the camera made things worst. I would stay home even when I was socially deprived just because I didn't want to go out scaring people and I really was reluctant to spend so much time covering up the spots trying to look perfect #iwokeuplikethis. And you know what was the remedy? When I told myself f*ck it I give up. I ate everything I felt like eating and that included deep fried food and Sichuan ma la and I kept my skincare routine to its most basic. I guess I was more at ease and then like magic my skin improved gradually over time, with occasional PMS cycle breakouts of course but it has been calm, defying all rules. People asked me what did I do to my skin, and the only advice I can give is, don't stress too much over it. Applies to most scenarios in life I guess - you stress it, you break it. I really envy people who have the come what may attitude, I realise they are the toughest and most contented. My skin condition is a good metaphor. #yesihadbadskintoo #girlyouarenotalone #jjgrandom

Hello! How are you all? I hope you had a merry Christmas with loved ones whether in-person or virtually this year ☃️
This wasn't intended to be my last video of 2020, but...nothing's really gone as intended for me this year. I never really talk about my mental health too deeply on here but idk if anybody really reads these diary entries anymore so I'll get a little more vulnerable ? I fell into a deep depression in the later months of 2020. It was probably the worst I've ever been mentally. I mentioned in my GRWM from January of this year that I was finally playing with colors and avant-garde makeup again because I was happy and comfortable being seen, but then lockdown happened and everything fell apart by April. Quarantine revealed to me the severity of issues I've been aware of but never felt the need to address. So I'm finally starting therapy in 2021! Thank you for sticking with me for another year. Here's to moving forward, ever-improving.
