Time for a dance workout!
Well, so I posted a short clip in stories last night and had a handful of queries from you all about the dance.
We are dancing to Figure 8 Fitness, which I bought online, and I absolutely love it because it makes you move every part of your body! The music is fast paced, the moves are varied and you get to do five kinds of Latin dances every time - Merengue, Samba, Salsa, Paso Doble and Jive. We did the 52-minute Core Cardio Blast last night and loved it. #notsponsored
The girls have been working out with me after dinner and I don't know why but they are always laughing their hearts out. Haha. Very funny meh? Anyway, I find dance such a good way to relax, bond while keeping fit at the same time. Sometimes, we just do yoga together and I will just search for random tutorials on YouTube too.
It's the start of exams for the big girl today but I still hope we can keep such fun nights coming our way and never lose the motivation to dance or exercise together. To more family workouts!
P.S. Thanks to the little brother who is always so enthu to help us take pictures and videos. Love you for being so patient and letting us work out nearly every night. ❤

"WATCH WHO YOU CALL UGLY"
a phrase used often now to caption pictures of transformations in physical appearance. My question is why watch who?, why call anyone ugly in the first place? Anyone can make a change in their life whether in their appearance or mindset, it takes hard work and a lot of determination, for some ppl more than the others. Ppl have various circumstances and situations they have to deal with at different phases in their lives so it doesn't matter when one makes a change because you'll never know what changes that person has even already made in their lives. You may be in a good place now calling others ugly but if at anytime you aren't would you like anyone calling you ugly? Think about it, at the end of the day no one is ugly, we just go through different phases in our lives. I won't say some are luckier than others because even if they do not suffer externally they may have something going on internally , everyone has their own battles. Nobody is perfect, so dear world stop making it seem like we have to be. I believe that if focus on ourselves,and what we want to change for ourselves definitely there will be no room to judge others when we already have ourselves to work on.
This msg is not to offend anyone but to remind people they have a right to choose what they want in their lives and that the world has to stop imposing standards 😊

Runtastic Fitness Coach Lunden has provided a core workout calendar for the entire month of July, along with a new healthy living habit to be implemented each week of the challenge. As we should all know by now, results do not happen overnight and it makes it so much better to know that you are not doing this alone. Post pictures, videos or words of encouragement in this event throughout the month to share with all the other participants. Lunden will also be posting videos in the event periodically to keep you on track, excited and focused. Are you ready?

Healthy Habit Week #1: Drink 8-12 cups of water per day.
Healthy Habit Week #2: Try a new vegetable once a week.
Healthy Habit Week #3: Take 10,000 steps each day.
Healthy Habit Week #4: Get 6-9 hours of sleep per night.
Healthy Habit Week #5: Exchange healthy recipes with a friend once a month.

**You can choose to do a hand plank or an elbow plank. Make sure you keep your hands/elbows directly underneath your shoulders. Keep your body as straight as a board.

**Keep your hands directly underneath your shoulders throughout the exercise. Right/Left is equal to 1 repetition.
Superman Pull: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwQWXXuo68o
**When doing the pull, squeeze your shoulder blades together and open up your chest while elongating the neck and spine.
Leg Raises: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=114L7ynsNp0
**Lower your legs as low as you can without your low back coming off of the ground. Put your hands underneath your low back for support if you need it.
As the repetitions of the exercises increase throughout the month, feel free to break them up into sets of 2-4 if you feel like it is too challenging, OR do the entire workout for 2-3 sets or 2-3x per day if you want to further challenge yourself. This calendar is just a guide. How will you know your limits if you don't push yourself to them?
