Walking by Faith
““Then if any man tells you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or, ‘There,’ don’t believe it. For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.” (Matthew 24:23-24 WEB)
The devil works with the body and soul realms—things that can be felt, seen, heard, and thought.
He deceives even through demonic signs and wonders. For example, using occult or pagan methods to do supernatural healing, which is essentially just asking the demon causing the sickness to step aside and let it appear like ‘a god’ healed the person. The endgame is to mislead people so that their spirits which are dead in sin will descend to Hell upon death.
“while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18 WEB)
While the devil works with the things that are seen (experienced in the body and soul realms), God works mostly in the invisible spirit realm. We experience Him through faith.
Don’t place too much certainty in what you see in this world because things are usually not what they seem. There are many more forces at play in the shadows, manipulating events and people to achieve their own goals.
In a world of thick darkness, we need to rely on the Holy Spirit in us to bear witness to the truth and lead us by His supernatural peace. He is our guide through life, and using God’s word, He shines a lamp before us so that we can continue walking forward.
We walk by faith, not by sight. No matter how convincing man is, always run it by God, and seek His counsel. Pray often and ask for His wisdom. I know that He will help you make the best decisions for your situation!

Welcome back to Qenggai, where I sit down and have a chat with the most special people in my life!
For the last episode of the season (I know! I can’t believe this is the last), I have a very special guest - Yutakis! Unfortunately, we couldn’t talk to each other in person as he is overseas but that didn’t stop us from spilling the tea! 荒漠原野、隱密火山、冷豔冰川、綠洲峽谷與地熱溫泉，是冰島中央高原 (Central Highlands) 的典型景觀。中央高原的道路顛簸，每年只有雪融後的夏秋季之際才會短暫開放，與世隔絕般的地理位置，更讓高原地帶增添幾分神秘感。
定居在冰島後的每年夏天，走一趟冰島中央高原，已經成為我一年當中最期待的時刻，一場讓人無法抗拒的「夏日限定」。
沿途造訪了南岸知名 Dyrhólaey 風景區、Reynisfjara 黑沙灘，以及數個秘境瀑布，在車子緩緩駛入高原後，我們來到了這次的目的地： Laki。Laki 火山口群 (Lakagígar) 坐落於冰島南岸的內陸高原。長達 27 公里的火山裂隙噴發口，由 130 個巨型火山口組成，形成於 1783 - 1784 年的 Laki 火山爆發。
1783 年 6 月，長達八個月的火山噴發期，破壞了大片牧場和耕地，一共造成了七千頭牛、兩萬匹冰島馬以及十二萬隻的冰島綿羊相繼死亡，約佔當時冰島牲畜總數的 75%。火山爆發伴隨了嚴重饑荒，有將近一萬居民相繼喪生，是冰島史上最致命的天災。
雖然說冰島的夏天是旅遊旺季，但是冰島有許多的風景，注定只會屬於少數人 ── 那些獨具匠心、不走尋常路的冒險旅人。在這裡，你可以體會冰島大自然最極致的無與倫比，捕捉最純粹的荒涼、感受最極端的視覺震撼、迷惑與孤獨，也可以遇見最真實原始的冰島樣貌。今夏出遊的小影片，與你們分享。
