It's that time of the year again. Moon cakes, moon cakes 🥮 everywhere! Did you know the tradition of eating mooncakes during the Mid-Autumn festival began in the Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368), a dynasty ruled by the Mongols?
And I've known this tradition my whole life, one of the many perks of being a Malaysian — moon cakes pouring in from companies, friends and neighbours during the festival. I miss the good old days, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying a good variety of mooncakes because I got my bunch from @whitemori_bakinglab.
You can pre-order a box of moon cakes (6 flavours) at only RM38, excluding delivery (refer to slide 4 for delivery charges).
The available flavours are :
1. Pandan Lotus (extra stars because I love Pandan Lotus combination 🤤)
2. White Lotus Single Yolk
3. Black Sesame
4. Red Bean
5. Green Tea
6. Royal Milk Tea
The mooncakes can last for a good month, but it's best to be savoured within two weeks (I finished mine in less than a week because they were so delicious 🙈)
