【人生本來就是一場笑話】
I have been told that I have black humour in my posts.
That my slightly dramatic writing makes people laugh.
You may have also read funny (at my expense) posts about the state of my almost 12-year-old marriage.
If you missed it, what a shame. Those are usually written in a jiffy (read: short) and are my most popular posts, compared to those I took hours to churn out.

I credit my humour DNA to my Father.
In their happy times, I remember seeing how my mum used to light up in laughter, whenever my Father cracked jokes.
I thought it was pretty amusing, that my mum was just scolding me a minute ago and the next minute, she laughed like a sunflower blooming in sunshine.
I used to think how awesome it will be, if I can too find a man who makes me laugh.
Then I realised that would be me putting my happiness in the hands of another person.
Why don't I acquire that 24/7 ability to make myself laugh? At least if the man runs away, I won't lose my mind.
Perhaps it's the many Stephen Chow movies that Daddy brought us to watch on the many Sundays.
I gradually learnt the effect humour has on people relations.
You are likeable when you laugh often (at the right time and for the right reason, of course).
You come across friendlier, more approachable and more understanding.
Humour tears down walls and builds bridges.
When two strangers laugh over something, suddenly the distance vanishes and their guard is let down.
And that's why people pay Stephen Chow to make them happy for that 2 hours.
I have many clients who battle with depression, anxiety, anger management or emotional disorder.
Not all of them see a doctor. Even less of them follow what the doctor prescribed.
From a Metaphysics point of view, some causes are due to very poor Feng Shui at home, Bazi not getting their favourable elements (eg working in the wrong industry), being in a bad luck cycle, and surrounded by people who are of their unfavourable elements.
Some are due to karmic debtors, e.g abortions, killing of animals.
Some are because they are unable to manage their attachment, greed, hatred, ignorance and jealousy, causing a lot of pain to themselves and people around them.
做人不容易。 It's not easy to be a human.
I am a very serious person in real life, especially when I am working. While that deters people from borrowing money from me, I have also learnt from my Grandmaster, Living Buddha Lian-Sheng and Shifu that humour, when used right, can help clients to accept my recommendations better.
I dedicate the rest of my life to express humour in living.
I doubt I will be able to meet everybody who read my posts.
So since you find my writing worthy of your time, the least I can do, to show my gratitude, is to make you laugh more.
Maybe then, you will realise your problem isn't that impossible to handle after all. 🍀
