兩年半後的今天,他們從大埔搬去了新蒲崗,食物種類不斷地增加,價錢卻沒變!兩年半前的「蔬食三餸午餐便當」到今天還是只需要$28,實在太...太...太便宜了!而且每天午餐便當都不一樣,提醒大家,可以自備餐盒去買外帶喔~
老闆還很貼心地為一眾都市人預備了冷藏「純素蔬食便當」和「純素荷葉飯」,買一些放家裡備用,沒時間煮飯的大忙人也可以輕鬆享用美味蔬食了!
最近快要過年,老闆還自家製造了一系列的素食糕點,包括黃朝蘿蔔糕、紫霞蘿蔔糕、原味蘿蔔糕等等~
順帶一提,如果要開派對,也可以找他們喔,老闆做的派對小食也不錯呢,有去過 香港素食會 Hong Kong Veg Society 的聚餐應該有嚐過了。對了,夏天的話,更有自家製的純素雪糕呢 🍦

"Veggie Smart" is my very first vegetarian restaurant before going vegan, and because of their vegetarian meal, it is both delicious and cheap. It made me change my diet immediately. From that day on, I decided to start being vegetarian.
Today, two and a half years later, they moved from Tai Po to San Po Kong. The variety of foods has continued to increase but the price has not changed! The "Three Dishes Vegan Lunch" still only needs $28 today, it is way too... too... too cheap! And the lunch menu is different every day, just want to remind everyone, you can bring your own lunch box to buy a take-away ~
"Veggie Smart" also provides the freeze "Vegan Rice Box" and "Vegan Rice in Lotus Leaf Wrap" series for those who don't have spare time to cook, but still want to enjoy delicious vegan food at home!
Recently, the New Year is coming, and they even homemade a series of vegan traditional cakes, including "Yellow Carrot Pudding", "Purple Radish Pudding", "Original Taste Radish Pudding" and so on.
By the way, you can also order party vegan snacks/food from them. If you join the party of Hong Kong Veg Society before, you will know how good the food is. By the way, in the summer, there is a homemade vegan ice cream tooooo. 🍦

Hello friends! Today we're going to show you how to make Spanish classic chilled soup for summer: Gazpacho(and yes, it's vegan ❤️ ).
Gazpacho is one of the best known Spanish dishes. It originates from the South of Spain, the Andalusia area. In there, most gazpacho recipes include stale bread, tomato, cucumbers, onion, green bell pepper, garlic, olive oil, sherry vinegar, water, and salt. Especially during hot summer days, cold gazpacho is ideally to enjoy as an appetizer.
Today, gazpacho has different varieties. But in this video, we wanna show you the most popular and classic tomato based version. Served cold and enjoy with homemade croutons, it’s so good in summer. Enjoy. :)

How to make Spanish Gazpacho Soup,
Spanish Gazpacho cold Soup Recipe
☞ Yield: 4~5 servings, 150ml/cup
✎ Ingredients
beef tomatoes & cherry tomatoes 420g
cucumber 75g
green bell pepper, 35g
red bell pepper, 35g
red onion 20g
garlic 2g
old bread 2 slices (22g)
olive oil 12g (1.5 tbsp)
sherry vinegar 12g (1tbsp, vinagre de Jerez)
salt Q.S.
a pinch of black pepper
homemade croutons Q.S.
Instructions
1. Cut the baguette slices into small pieces. Set aside.
2. Slice off the stem-end of the green bell pepper, remove the ribs, veins and seeds away, then cut into small pieces. Repeat the process for red bell pepper.
3. Cut the onion into thin slices.
4. Cut off the root end, and peel the skin from the clove. Slice the clove into thin pieces.
5. Cut off the stems of cucumber, then peel the skin and slice into a platter.
6. Cut the tomato in half, and remove the stem and core. Cut the tomato into small wedges.
7. Place the tomatoes, peppers, onion, garlic into a food processor or blender, blend until very smooth.
8. Add baguette bread and
soak completely with vegetable puree until soft. Season with salt and black pepper, drizzle olive oil as you like, and add the sherry vinegar. Cover the lid and blend until well combined.
9. Taste and adjust the seasoning as necessary. 10. Strain the mixture through a strainer, pushing all the liquid through with a spatula and discard the solids. Chill until very cold for hours or overnight.
11. Cut the baguette in half, then cut in half lengthwise and slice into bite-size. Set aside.
12. Mince garlic. Combine olive oil and minced garlic, and then drizzle (the bread) with oil evenly.
13. Place the breads onto a baking sheet. Season with black pepper and Parmesan. If you like, you can season with salt.
14. Preheat oven to 170C, bake for 12-14 mins or golden brown.
15. Remove the croutons from oven, let cool.
16. To serve, pour gazpacho into a cup or a bowl, put some ice cubes, garnish with tomatoes, chopped cucumber, homemade croutons and a drizzle of olive oil.

Kids requested me to make Nagashi Somen (Flowing Somen noodles) again, this time we used Rainbow Somen Noodles called "Miwa no Niji!", which is a popular summer gift in Japan 2020! Seven Plant Based Summer Somen Noodles (Rainbow Noodles "Miwa no Niji") Recipe
Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: 15min
Number of servings: 4
Ingredients:
((Toppings))
grape tomato wedges
cucumber strips
Shiso leaf strips
Naganegi (long onion slices)
Aonegi (chopped green onions)
ginger strips
Arare (rice crackers)
Yukari (red Shiso leaves rice seasoning)
((Somen Dipping Sauce))
* 300ml Dashi broth (using packaged dashi powder saves time)
* 4 tbsp. Mirin (sweet Sake)
* 4 tbsp. soy sauce
((Somen Noodles))
Miwa no Niji (rainbow Somen noodles)
Directions:
((Somen Dipping Sauce))
In a pot, bring Dashi broth, Mirin, and soy sauce to a boil. You can also microwave until it comes to a boil. Cool in the fridge until ready to serve.
((Somen Noodles))
Boil water in a large pot. Add dried Somen noodles in boiling water and gently stir noodles with chopsticks. Cook Somen noodles according to your package (mine was 2 min). Drain the noodles in a strainer and rinse the noodles with hands under running water. Take bite-size portion of the noodles and roll them on your fingers (like you roll pasta on a fork), and place them on a dish. Decorate the noodles with toppings of your choice and keep in the fridge until you serve.
I love using Kayanoya Dashi. Vegan/Vegetarian people can use Kombu or Vegetable Dashi broth for the dipping sauce 👍

You can also dilute Mentsuyu to make Somen dipping sauce but make sure you dilute as instructed because the level of concentration vary from product to product.

Wash and remove the stem. Place it stem side down. Slice the tail part, making sure you do not cut all the way through. Open and place the cut side down. Adjust the shape of the tail. Cut the fins. If you like, you can cut out sliced cheese and put some sesame seeds to make eyes.
