For every different genre there are different ways of transitioning into the next song, some work better than others, but ultimately it all comes down to the vibe and groove of the song.
I started out playing EDM, and it took me a very long time to understand how to play hip hop, rnb, and anything that’s more soulful, such as neosoul or funk.
I’m glad that I figured it out though. It has made me a much better and more versatile DJ than I was two years ago.
The journey continues as I hone in on my sounds and create a signature for myself.
