The doll's house is elevated to unforeseen heights with this travel trunk specially conceived to showcase Autumn-Winter 2020-2021 Haute Couture pieces on.dior.com/couture-aw2021 by Maria Grazia Chiuri. Featuring a hand-painted rendering of the iconic 30 Avenue Montaigne façade, the trunk – a distillation of savoir-faire collaboration with wood, canvas, leather and brass elements – was designed to hold the miniature dresses that were exact scaled-down versions of the collection's life-size originals. The exquisite exercise pays tribute to the Théâtre de la Mode touring exhibition which, with its diminutive designs by Paris couturiers and artists, entranced all those who saw it in the aftermath of WWII.
