This is one of my ultimate dream destination. I always wanted to visit Torres del Paine, Chile for the longest tome as I rmb and do the hike to this spot (20km round-trip hike). The fact is! What challenged me most wasn’t the difficulty of the hike but it’s because there is a VERY small chance that you will see the Towers (3 hills in the bg) when you arrive here due to Patagonia’s shitty weather all year😔. IT COULD BE JUST ALL WHITE. I got warned a lot that it’s a waiting game....
I started the hike pretty early from the place I was camping. The hike is quite challenging because it was all dark at 4am and the path is mostly wet and slippery. When I arrived just right before the sun rose, IT WAS ALL WHITE + -4C and it was FUCKING WINDY + snowing ❄️ (STILL AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL). Gladly, I carried 10kg backpack full of Jackets😂 because I know I need to wait there more than 30 mins and I didnt wanna die by the cold. Many people, after arriving only 5 mins, they started to walk back because they couldn’t endure the extremely windy and cold weather condition. My friend and I were there 1 more hr and then the Towers appeared!! With this PERFECT ORANGE SUNRISE LIGHT CROSSING THEM IN HALF😍❤️🙌🏻 I couldnt be any happier!! 😆🤑❤️❤️
Worth the wait, the cold, the crazy walk during the night carrying heavy stuff.☺️ I can die peacefully lol😂
I was fast enough to get many shots of this and the Towers disappeared in 10 mins later......
