Porky-licious Malaysian tapas paired with the most perfect pint of Connor's with a creamy top and perfect dome - this sums up our great night out at Tiki Taka, Medan Damansara.
Tiki Taka is a football term that also means "food hoping" in Spain. Well, you don't have to hop around if you can find pintxos, tapas, pizzas and desserts all under one roof.
Some of the more remarkable dishes are the salted egg crab bun - fresh salted egg crab meat, curry leaves, cili padi and creamy custard sauce in between two mini charcoal buns. I really love the Singapore chilli prawns with fried mantao, the gravy is so excellent that we mopped the bowl clean. We reckoned that the pork satay, char siew pizza, Nutella bacon wanton and ice ice baby are some of the must orders here too.
The brunch menu looks good and it is available during the weekend. Don't forget to order a pint or two of draft Connor's when you are here, it's the best in KL (I'm pretty sure) due to their unique pouring technique.
