Yay ❤️ It’s a Mid-Week Break for Dragon Boat Festival tomorrow. How is everyone spending their day off? There’s no dragon boat racing this year which breaks my usual tradition of heading to the beach so I decided to take up a new skill. I think I might have gone a bit over the recommended amount of alcohol but do I look professional? 😊

It is 5:50pm on a Friday evening and you have not left your desk for the last 10 hours. You are exhausted, your eyes are tearing up from staring at the screen all day and your hands feel alien as you struggle to finish that last little bit. Have you ever felt that way? I definitely have and with deadlines always around the corner, wouldn’t everyone just love to have an extra hour to the day?

When you enter The 25th hour cocktail bar in Central, you are immediately transported to a place where you forget all about the constraints of time. Everything from the lighting to the decor has been designed to make you forget about the hustle and bustle of modern life. The service is flawless and their attention to detail is impeccable. When I went there with a few friends, I did not know what to expect but after my visit, I have no doubt that this place will become a must-go destination for those in need of an escape.

As I arrived, I was greeted by the staff who were friendly and attentive in explaining their extensive selection of drinks. Their cocktails have been specifically created by the mixologist using a variety of local and imported ingredients and with names like “A Ticking Romance” and “Retrospect”, my curiosity was definitely piqued. They also have a wide variety of tapas to complement your drinks and to complete your experience, the chef has prepared their own Chinese inspired soups to send you off in a warm and homely manner. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful night and left me wanting to return for more.

【復活期清唱劇 Cantatas for Easter Feasts】
DK 將於本週六演出「樂旅巴赫」系列的最後一場音樂會，為大家帶來三套巴赫為復活節期而寫的清唱劇，包括著名的 BWV 4《基督躺在死亡的枷鎖中》。除此之外，聽眾當晚更會欣賞到德語經文歌，風琴作品，甚至格雷果聖歌等與是次音樂會主題相關的音樂。如欲了解更多，歡迎參加免費公開綵排及音樂會前講座。
Die Konzertisten will present its fifth and final concert of the 'Bach Pilgrimage' Series. We will perform three cantatas Bach wrote for Easter Feasts, including the famous BWV 4 'Christ lag in Todes Banden'. Moreover, audiences will hear a German motet, an organ piece, and even Gregorian chants that complement the concert's theme. Don't miss the concert and the pre-concert talk!
