WHAT’S YOUR THIRST? 💦
I was asked this question a month ago, then I made this.
Couldn’t be anymore prouder.
I dedicated my first half of June (and end of May) for this, when we all couldn’t go anywhere far.
All the “props” you see in the video are not merely props. I made every single one of them by hand, including the final cake with my first attempt of blue lettering (that I initially felt embarrassed at), the to-do-lists board with blue ripped papers, the half-finished pastel sky acrylic painting with morandi blue shapes on a hugeeee canvas... basically shouldered the entire art department, with pride.
I even suggested to have a scene with sparklers, urging myself to take a big step forward, not knowing I’d teared for seconds on set before filming it. This time around, though it’s small-scale, extra precautions were taken. I was protected, encouraged and supported. :) I’m a little braver than yesterday. (Will send thank you note personally again to those who helped) ♡
It’s not really my first time scripting & directing if school project is counted hahhh, but it’s definitely my first time leading a production team and taking care of *everything* from pre to post, from scratch to hatch. Every single scene now leaves a very beautiful memory; they were all made possible with thirsts.
