My little fashion designers who put their own looks together while I was shopping.
Yup, shopping! Friends who know me will know that I very rarely shop or buy things for myself but in trying to pamper myself a little after a tiring solo parenting week and seeing how the sole to my sandal came off while I was walking halfway (!!), I decided to get something nice for myself that day. Yup, even if it means I had to lug the kids with me.
We entered this shop upon seeing a dress that was on sale ($9.99 only lor!) but when I wanted to try it on, I realised the queue to the fitting room was super long! Still, I decided to try and amazingly for nearly an hour, the kids busied themselves by pretending to be fashion designers and helping each other to decide what looked cool on each of them and showed me every look. Yup, they never complained about the wait and we also went shopping for new slippers after that, stayed in town till late and had desserts before going home.
Yup, I'm still trying to make them understand that it's a give and take relationship and they can love me back by respecting what I would like to do or watch a movie that I would like to watch, instead of me always following and doing what they love.
我不想一直一味的为孩子付出，更想做的是要他们学会体谅，懂得感恩。❤
