11年前的今天我離開了我自己的國家前往 #台灣 #追 我高中的時候的 #夢 . 雖然我那時候搬來台灣的兩個禮拜前在搬家的時候腳 #骨折 所以手上拿著 #拐杖 但是我還是堅持我一定要來. 從 #拉斯維加斯 飛到 #洛杉磯 然後剛好可以跟我認識多久的朋友 Ashley Perkins 在 #機場 裡面小見面一下. 那時候我完全不知道未來我會這麼 #愛上 台灣這個地方. 沒想過會認識這麼多這麼厲害的朋友. 只知道我想要來住台灣. 好高興年輕的我那麼堅持.

這麼多年後回來母校還是有一種安心的感覺... 通常忙著生活中的大小事也只會快速經過，不會回想剛開始在台灣生活的日子.
不過今天有機會回來走在校園跟我以前的宿舍熟悉的步道上真的讓我想起好多事情. 現在已經離那個歲月很遠了，但是那時在教室裡還有教室外學到的課到今天都還陪著我. 很開心我有機會有這個經驗.
Even after all these years, coming back to my alma matter still brings with it a kind of calm. Amid the craziness of dealing with all of the big and little things in daily life, I usually only speedily pass this place by, not thinking at all about the memories I have here.
Today, however, I had the chance to come back and walk the familiar paths on campus and at my old dorms and remember lots of things from my time here. While that time is now long gone, the lessons I learned here both inside and outside of the classroom stay with me to today. I’m so glad I was fortunate enough to have that experience.
