[財報結果整理]
今天比較引起我注意的新聞, 就是這條新聞了:
"串流設備大廠 ROKU (ROKU-US) 大漲 17.67%，該公司將 NBC 的 OTT 服務串流媒體平台 Peacock (孔雀) 添加其平台中。"
想法? Well, 兩家公司斡旋了好久, 看來Comcast還是繞不過Roku.
今天有一條Quibi的新聞(營運不善的意思):
《華爾街日報》引述消息人士稱，由迪士尼前高層卡岑貝格(Jeffrey Katzenberg)創立、惠普前行政總裁惠特曼(Meg Whitman)有份領導的短視頻串流服務商Quibi，計劃整體出售，同時考慮借殼上市。
兩條新聞放在一起看, 其實挺有趣的.
所以, 如果Peack不上Roku平台, 下場就可能會像Quibi一樣呢?
"Quibi -- for the many people out there unfamiliar with it -- is a streaming platform that launched earlier this year with an all-star cast of costly short-form content. Despite spending a ton of money on programming and even springing for a Super Bowl ad, its decision to launch as a mobile-only platform meant that it wouldn't play on Roku or other TV-based hubs. The result: It flopped. In his opening monologue at the Emmys on Sunday night, Jimmy Kimmel called Quibi the dumbest thing ever to cost a billion dollars.
Roku never had a chance to help drive an audience to Quibi, but Peacock could have been different. However, Comcast's attempt to launch it without getting Roku and Fire TV on board -- and the relatively tepid response the service's debut generated as a result -- should serve as a cautionary tale for any future entrants to the streaming game."

不是很清楚你是在哪本書看到的
不過 wikipedia 上和我印象中的和棋是相吻合的

Games also may end in a draw (tie). A draw
can occur in several situations, including draw
by agreement, stalemate, threefold repetition of
a position, the fifty move rule, or a draw by
impossibility of checkmate (usually because of
insufficient material to checkmate).
1. draw by agreement
雙方同意議和, 這個沒啥好說的
2. stalemate
這個是西洋棋特有的, 如果你只剩下 King, 目前
沒有被將軍 (check), 但是無論你走哪一步都會被
將軍, 那麼會因為欠行判和, 這和象棋的欠行判負
是有區別的
3. threefold repetition of a position
三次相同盤面作和 (不需連續出現). 這通常是劣
勢方棋手最後的手段, 通常是劣勢方抓到優勢方的
某個弱點, 走出優勢方不得不應的棋步, (當然也
有可能是優勢方的疏忽, 忘記這個盤面重複出現過,
讓劣勢方有機可乘) 其實這在象棋中也並不會少見,
不過象棋得要沒有連將或連抓(亞洲棋規) 甚至沒
有連殺/連打(大陸棋規) 的循環盤面才能作和.
4. the fifty move rule
這不是走到五十步算和, 而是五十步中雙方都沒有
吃子, 也都沒有小兵(pawn)向前推進, 就可以由一
方提出和局判決. 象棋似乎也有幾步未吃子判和的
規定, 不過我看過就忘了 XD
5. draw by impossibility of checkmate
當雙方子力都無法擒對方的王時, 也會產生和局,
像是西洋棋的雙馬對孤王. 大概像是象棋的例和吧!

有時候，遺忘，是令人快樂的。什麼時候？當然是有人傷了你的心的時候。
存心傷你的那個人，固然是故意和你過不去，但是被傷了心而耿耿於懷的你
，卻是和自己過不去了。所以，記性不好的人，通常會是比較快樂的人，也
是比較不容易被擊倒的人。
