PART 2 : Describe the first time when you used a foreign language to communicate .

- Do people need to learn foreign language ? Why ?
- Do you think that all children should learn foreign languages at school ?
- What is the best age for a child to learn a foreign language ?
- Câu cuối mình nhớ mang máng thầy hỏi học ngôn ngữ thì Speaking hay Writing khó hơn ?

How long does it take to reach C1 (advanced) in a language you're learning? 💭
🤔Someone asked this on Twitter today and it got me thinking. I wonder why questions like these are so common. It's good to have a broad understanding of how long it might take, but there are way too many factors at play, making it impossible to have a single answer to this question.
📚If you're fluent in Dutch and learning Afrikaans, it might take you a few months or years, depending on the time you put in to learn and practice, to become fluent. The two languages are that similar.
🤠But if you're a native French speaker learning Korean, for instance, the two languages are very different in terms of grammar, pronunciation, sentence structure and even writing system. It would require hours and hours more effort than the above example.
🗻In another instance, 2 native English speakers could both start learning Japanese. Person A spends hours weekly studying, getting speaking practice in, listening and getting immersion down, and works hard. They could reach N3 (intermediate) level in a year and a half if they put in a ton of effort and if Japanese is all they focus on. Person B might even live in Japan, but if they don't put in the work and just rely on some weekly classes and barely do their homework, they might never even reach N5 (beginner) despite living in Japan. 🤔
As you can see, it's really impossible to ask these questions and have a cookie-cutter answer for each person and each language. Let's rather put time in to be immersed in languages rather than get stressed about how long the process might take. What do you all think? 💖🥳

Press Release: Phantom Fluffy will be on air for the first time on Sep. 27!
Phantom Fluffy, the latest animation created by Mingkun Liu, a Taiwanese originator
The 30-year-old ASAKU series is created by Mingkun Liu, a famous cross-field creator from Taiwan, who worked on the comics of Stone Age, the well-known online game, and who developed Mega Man, a game authorized by Capcom Co., Ltd. a Japanese video game developer and publisher. Meanwhile, Liu also teaches in the dept. of computer science and information management in HungKuang University, as an associate professor. Working with Axis 3D Technology, Inc., Liu created the magical and adorable animation of Phantom Fluffy. This animation is produced by Axis 3D Technology, Inc. and created by Liu himself. As for the music, Liu invited Vincent Chang, the game score master who also composed music for Sunshine ASAKU® in 2000, to re-interpret the classic score for the latest animation.
An animation extension of ASAKU® for children, Phantom Fluffy shares the same, complete worldview with ASAKU® and their stories are all connected. Based on the cultural resource accumulated over thirty years, Phantom Fluffy has its own story, just like ASAKU®. Even if one hasn’t watched ASAKU® before, rest assured this will not make a difference when he/ she watches Phantom Fluffy. Phantom Fluffy focuses on the daily life of Fluffy and his phantom friends. In ASAKU®, all characters from Phantom Fluffy are divine animals. Therefore, in Phantom Fluffy, these characters will be with Fluffy for everything he does, be it an argument or an adventure. These companies will become divine animals in the future. At the same time, they will accompany preschool kids to grow together.
The main character, Fluffy, from Phantom Fluffy, is created based on Liu’s self-portrait, the Fox Kid. In 1997, Liu published the book, Fox Stupid Soldier, which detailed Liu’s military life. In 2015, Liu worked with Sanlih E-Television Inc. for Formosa I SEE YOU , the kids’ show, in which Liu hosted the show as an adorable and goofy puppet. Together with his animation, Liu was very popular with kids. Phantom Fluffy is a special project, in honor of Liu’s dedication in this field over thirty years. In this animation for children, Fox Kid, Liu’s doppelganger, plays as the protagonist.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Phantom Fluffy has six episodes in total. Every episode lasts for three minutes. The 3D animation targets an audience of three-year-old, or older, kids. In the whole animation, there is no line spoken. The whole story is told via body language from Fluffy and his friends. Therefore, this animation can be viewed by children coming from different backgrounds and speaking different languages.
This animation is created without any line, voicing, or sound effect. In every episode, a tailor-made score is played. We try to connect all episodes through music, so the characters can perform with the music. We hope this allows children more room for imagination, so that every child will have their own Fluffy living in their mind.
This animation focuses on morality, friendship, and adventure. This is a magical animation full of fantasy and heartwarming.
The first episode of Phantom Fluffy will be available on ASAKU channel on YouTube at 18:00, on Sunday, September 27. We welcome you all to come join the adventure with Fluffy by watching this lovely piece of work with your family.

There are other people giving readings this month, in lots of different languages, all across YouTube.
See the complete schedule here:
