Year 2019 - wow, what a year. I’ve spent a quarter of it exploring #southkorea🇰🇷 and have even made some great friends. I didn’t post this earlier because I was heavily criticised over my headscarf and just overall what I wore for that entire year. There were a lot of times I just wanted to die and just felt like I am not good enough to be a Muslim.

Did they break my spirit? Yes. Did they make me cried? Yes, in every prayers. But hey I’m a positive person, I overcome it. Today, I’m without it and generally people just leave me alone now. Sometimes we just need support, instead of “you know it all” advises.

A lot of you asked where is my hijab but I never really share. Maybe today it’s the time. I just needed to grow at my own pace without people putting me down all the time when it was already extremely challenging for me. I just want you guys to keep spreading positivity and kindness, because you don’t know how you can impact people :-) And no, you don’t know it all. Only Allah SWT knows it all.
