Lunar New Year is coming soon! 🏮🧧🎊
It’s my first time celebrate Chinese New Year in Singapore this year.. usually we always visiting our relatives overseas.. but thankful to be here and still can roam around exploring Singapore..
📍Chinese Pavilion at Floral Dome Gardens By The Bay
Have you visited #FloralDome to check out their CNY installation?
They have beautiful installation this year: the lanterns, lion dance dispay as well as this Chinese Pavilion.. And this year they also have a lot of Dahlia flowers..
About Chinese Pavilion..
🎊 Did you know that the shape of the pavilion has the meaning?
Round signify perfection and unity, rectangular denote laws and regulations, hexagonal signify longevity..
🎊 The colour of pavilion roof tiles has the meaning as well.. Red symbolises good fortune and joy, green represents vigour and longevity and yellow corresponds with the earth and is the imperial colour.
🎊 Pavilion always located at the vantage point that commands the best view..

🇲🇲Shwezigon Pagoda of Bagan has an interesting legend. It's built by King Anawrahta, the founder of the great Pagan Dynasty in the 11th century.
According to the legend, King Anawrahta selected the site for building this pagoda by sending a white elephant mounted with a frontal bone relic of the Buddha to roam freely with the declaration that wherever the elephant stopped would be the site for building the pagoda. The elephant finally stopped over a dune which was chosen as the site for erecting the pagoda, and hence the name Shewzigon pagoda meaning "pagoda on a dune" in Burmese.
It looks really golden, but the monetary value is quite different from Shwedagon in Yangon. This is covered by copper, not gold.
One can easily get pagoda overdosed in ancient city Bagan, as it has thousands of 8 to 10 centuries old stupas and temples all over the place. But this gigantic golden structure is indeed quite impressive @ Bagan, Myanmar

Lyrics~歌詞
If you found yourself caught beneath the pouring rain
And you felt a sorrow deep that no words could explain
I would want to be there to take away your pain
But I know all I can do is to hold your hand
Be a flower in the wind, comfort you as best I can
If you thought that there were no reason to believe
In all your distant dreams and your childhood fantasies
And you could not find any more dreams left to weave
I would raise my voice high and offer you this song
That tomorrow may be bright and your heart would stay strong
※Just like a flower, just like a flower
Don't forget that you are beautiful just the way you are
Each man treads firmly on this earth we roam
With a flower deep inside that we call our own
In the heart of every man one more blossom finds a home
Even if my time on earth should come to an end
I will always be with you in the howling ocean wind
Just like a flower, just like a flower
Trust your body to the wind now and give into its power
Calmly surrender to the flow of time
Just believe with all your heart and one day you'll find
That the fruits of all your dreams, in your petals are entwined
※Repeat/繰り返し
Just like a flower, just like a flower
