本展示では台南に存在する様々な産業をクローズアップします。台南在住の新鋭カメラマンPJ Wang氏の撮影により、台南の各業界における老職人たちの物事や段取りに対するこだわりぶりを記録し、一方で新興産業の担い手やクリエイターの姿も捉え、彼らがどのように職人精神を継承しているかを見、また彼らが台南に創出している素敵なモノを見て行きます。

近年、台南は日本人の台湾旅行の訪問先トップになりました。台南市街地にあたる「中西区」の昔ながらの歴史建築や美味しい地元料理などは、どの旅行ガイドブックでも台南の最もストレートな観光イメージとして紹介されています。しかし実のところ、台南は旧市街地以外にも非常に多くの探索に訪れるべきスポットが存在しています。そこで今年の私たちは「大台南」(郊外を含めた台南市全域)を対象に、各地域の観光スポットやグルメ、特産、お土産などをご紹介いたします。

This exhibition will close up a variety of industries that exist in tainan. The shooting of the advanced cameraman pj wang, who lives in tainan, has recorded the obsession of the old craftsmen in each industry in tainan, and also captures the appearance of emerging industry bearers and creators, and how they are. I see how they inherit the Artisan Spirit, and I'm going to see the wonderful things they are creating in tainan.
