Saya telah mengadakan perjumpaan dengan YB Khairy Jamaluddin, Menteri Penyelaras Program Imunisasi Covid-19 Kebangsaan merangkap Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi, YAB Dato’ Haji Hasni bin Mohammad, Menteri Besar Johor, YB Datuk Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi, EXCO Pelancongan, Belia dan Sukan, dan YB Dato’ Haji Azmi bin Rohani, Setiausaha Kerajaan Johor pada hari ini (8 Ogos 2021) di Royal Johor Polo Club mengenai kadar vaksinasi dan pembekalan vaksin di Johor.
Hasil perbincangan ini, Johor akan menerima sebanyak 2 juta dos vaksin untuk bulan Ogos 2021. Dos vaksin ini akan tiba:
Minggu 1 Ogos - 324,940 dos
Minggu 9 Ogos - 564,234 dos
Minggu 16 Ogos - 340,150 dos
Minggu 23 Ogos - 796,344 dos
Saya juga telah menitahkan kerajaan negeri untuk membuka satu PPV pandu lalu khas di Arena Larkin Johor Bahru khas bagi memudahkan golongan OKU untuk mendapatkan dos vaksin mereka.
Semoga pengumuman ini akan menghasilkan pencapaian imuniti kelompok dalam jangka masa yang terdekat. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.

I had a meeting with Coordinating Minister of the National Covid-19 Immunisation programme (PICK) and Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation YB Khairy Jamaluddin, Menteri Besar of Johor YAB Dato' Haji Hasni bin Mohammad, Johor Tourism, Youth and Sports EXCO YB Datuk Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi and Johor State Secretary YB Dato' Haji Azmi bin Rohani today (8 August 2021) at the Royal Johor Polo Club regarding the vaccination rate and vaccine supply in Johor.
As a result of discussions, Johor will receive 2 million doses of vaccine in August 2021. These vaccine doses will arrive:
Week Aug 1 - 324,940 doses
Week Aug 9 - 564,234 doses
Week Aug 16 - 340,150 doses
Week Aug 23 - 796,344 doses
I also decreed for the state government to open a special drive-thru PPV at Arena Larkin Johor Bahru to facilitate those with disabilities (OKU) get their vaccine doses.
May this announcement result in us achieving herd immunity in the near future. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.

Time is a fickle concept. It can take you years to heal, days to grow, hours to assemble. But it can also take you a day to crumble, a minute to destroy, and a second to vaporise.

The rate of suicides and depressions has exponentially increased during these insane times. It is troubling to see that so many would choose death over life. Imagine the lives that could've been saved with a simple phone call? A text? A meal delivered to their door?
We're all going through our personal battles and we're all at different stages of those battle. Some may be winning those battles and some are struggling. Be kind to everyone because you'll never know if the next words that come out of your mouth would be their saving grace or their next step 6 feet under.
Call up your friend. Facetime a family member. Send food to a colleague.

The first nature documentary series on global endangered species in Taiwan, 《Orphans of the Earth》presents three new episodes in 2021 《Elves of Taiwan》，that reach out to the sky, the sea and the grasslands only to reveal precocious footages of the endangered endemic species that are known for extreme rarity, minimal sighting rate and videotaping challenges—Taiwan Grass Owls, the Taiwanese Humpback Dolphins, and the Formosan pangolins.
The production crew of “Elves of Taiwan” partakes in perhaps the most difficult animal rescue operations in line with conservation efforts and the most dignified science-based survey projects. The program unveils diversified local landscapes and endemic species completed by various angles and perspectives—from aerial rescues, ocean investigations, to underground bone excavations; it is indeed a brutally honest series that documents the conservation and restoration of the terrestrial, oceanic, and airborne endemic species in Taiwan.
In the Southwestern badlands in Taiwan, there is a very mysterious owl of terrestrial habitats, the Taiwan grass owls, and as of today, scientists are still unable to decipher its whereabouts and behaviors. Against all odds, the production team followed up all kinds of clues for two years— from bird net rescues, follow-up research, to nocturnal studies— and is finally able to present the stirring life story of these aerial elves of Taiwan as they face the changes and destructions in their habitats.
