HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This is our last vlog of 2020. Can you believe it? As strange as this year has been, thankfully it has flown by for our little family. This was the year I wore a mask more than I wore a bra. It was also the year I saw my postman more than my own family and friends. Still, I am thankful for my loved ones being healthy and well. I know everybody is sick of 2020 and hopes the New Year will be better. I am optimistic about the future but honestly, I'm just taking it one day at a time and celebrating little wins. I read a quote that says 2021 shouldn't be looked at as some magical year. Instead, we must also take ownership of our actions, change our habits to support our growth and make health and happiness a priority. Here's to not only GOING through 2021 but GROWING through it!!

Joker小丑影評解析
主角的詳盡心理剖析

有看開我的觀眾都知道影評是我老本行，Joker這套戲是我人生中看過的戲入面，腦部震撼程度最大。為了這個影評，我看了兩次，寫了好久。Joker這套戲可以話是將一個角色的心理變化描寫得淋漓盡致，電影中沒論是演技、對白、鏡頭運用等等都將主角Arthur變成Joker的心路歷程表達得相當有層次，當我串合哂所有重點之後，今次想用「一個邊緣人發現自己存在意義」的角度分析。

Arthur Fleck，在故事中是一個社會邊緣人。
社會邊緣人，定義為社會底層的人，又或者是一些抗拒主流文化而被邊緣化的人。由故事一開始至到片名JOKER出現之前已經可以看到這個事實。

我地先由他的人生意義開始分析。在電影初頭Arthur一路在電視看着Murray個show一路幻想自己是入面的觀眾。在這個幻想世界入面，他被偶像Murray叫起身，之後跟全部人講：他媽媽話他一出世就是為了要帶給人歡笑與歡樂「She told me I had a purpose, to bring laughter and joy to the world」。可以由此得知，Arthur Fleck的人生意義就是「為世界帶來歡笑與歡樂」，而這個人生意義是他媽媽賦予給他的。但好可惜的是，這個黑暗的社會讓他沒辦法可以有人生意義。電影用了足足幾個層次去講這件事。

第一層，當Arthur做着一些他覺得讓人歡笑的事的時候，沒一次被社會接納過。Arthur的工作是一個小丑表演者，小丑 Clown的存在目的就是要「為世界帶來歡笑與歡樂」，所電影透過Arthur這份工作象徵住他想得到的人生意義：「為世界帶來歡笑與歡樂」。他好想透過自己的表演來實現這個媽媽給他的人生意義，但是個社會讓他沒辦法做到，電影透過至少4個跟他表演相關的情節去表達這樣嘢。第一，電影第一個畫面就是播着新聞，化了小丑妝的Arthur一路聽住啲新聞講着個城市幾咁崩壞，一路要自己笑，但是他只能夠喊，亦即是話他做不到他媽媽要他做的嘢，就是「put on a happy face」。透過社會的新聞和他想笑但只能夠喊的對比，可以表達着即使他幾想「為世界帶來歡笑」都好，這個社會都讓他做不到，他在個社會入面只是想喊。第二，他第一次做着小丑的時候是拎住一塊「Everything must GO」的牌，這塊牌是講着間輔執笠大清貨，他要在一個舖頭執笠的情況下做小丑，已經不是一個可以讓個世界有歡樂的情況，加上之後他被人搶走個廣告牌以及被人圍毆，更加講着個社會讓他沒辦法現踐到他的人生意義。第三，他在醫院做小丑的時候，因為一把手槍而讓他沒埋份工，而這把手槍仲要是他同事陷害他的工具，同樣地都是讓個沒情的社會將他逼到咁。第四，他被人炒了登台做live表演的時候。在他這一次表演入面，中段電影以音樂襯托住他自信表演的畫面來表達Arthur覺得自己終於做到，但終究都是被他最尊敬的笑匠Murray用來公開取笑。同時都代表住就算他覺得自己做到都好，這個由權貴掌控的社會都是會讓他沒辦法有人生意義。尤其當他沒了份工，他已經開始感覺到個這個社會是幾咁冷酷黑暗。因為他準備登台做live表演的時候，自我介紹是想bring happiness to this cold dark world。從這一句我地可以理解他本身的人生意義「為世界帶來歡笑與歡樂」已經變成「帶歡笑給這個冷酷黑暗的世界」，亦都可以確立他覺得自己的人生是一齣悲劇這點。綜合這四個情節，我地可以從第一層去知道這個社會讓Arthur沒辦法有人生意義。因為當他做着一些他覺得讓人歡笑的事的時候，沒一次成功亦都沒一次被人接納。

第二層，他個病不被社會接受同樣讓他沒辦法有人生意義。Arthur寫的笑話有個特徵，就是大眾覺得不應該笑但是他自己覺得要笑。這個特徵我地可以在一幕Arthur聽在live show見到，當時他一路看show一路drop notes，他會零零舍舍在一些人地沒笑的位笑，但這個場景只是他幻想出來，因為看show的時候他是用着右手寫字但在現實他不嬲都是用左手寫。之後鏡頭一cut去返現實，他在藍調的屋企用左手寫了一個威大極大的黑色笑話「The worst part about having a mental illness is people expect you to behave as if you don’t」有精神病最慘就是啲人期待着你是扮病的。這句說話對於當時的Arthur來講就是一件最慘的事，但他當成一個笑話寫落去筆記，亦即是代表住他覺得好笑的笑話全部都是一些最慘的事，而大眾是笑不出的黑色幽默。黑色幽默是一套痛苦的喜劇，即是一些嘲諷現實的笑話，而且黑色幽默會攞禁忌來開玩笑，挖苦得越大，黑色幽默的笑話威力就會越大 by wikipedia。所以Arthur的笑話都是黑色幽默，而且都是極端到普羅大眾不敢笑的，跟他個病徵根本一模一樣，在一些不應該笑的時候得他一個自己敢笑，仲要失控大笑。所以社會不接受他的病就好似不接受他的笑話一樣，不接受他的笑話，相當於他沒辦法「為世界帶來歡笑」。而因為他個病不接社會接受亦等同於他做不到一個笑匠，他都是實踐不到他被媽媽賦予的人生意義，所以他在這個層面更加覺得自己的人生是一齣悲劇。

我地綜合這兩層在現實層面以及他個病的層面，都見到Arthur希望為世界帶來歡笑但是社會不接納他，讓他沒辦法做到。所以先會逼到他去到第三層，希望自己是一個正常人。而如果他是正常人的話，就等於大眾對他扮着有病的期待成真，社會就可以接納返他。所以在他寫完「有精神病最慘就是啲人期待着你是扮病的」這句果個moment，就着接住Arthur的一個幻想片段，就是個單親媽媽鄰居㩒他門鐘問他是不是跟縱他，之後Arthur的反應讓這位鄰居讚他funny，他終於得到在戲中的第一個讚賞。這個位都代表住當Arthur顯示到他本身正常的話，大眾真是會接受他。所以當他終於見到有人認同他的時候，他以為自己實踐到人生意義，但這個經歷原來都是他妄想出來而不自知。去到第三層Arthur被逼到要妄想的心理狀況，電影的經典quote「I used to think my life was a tragedy. But now I realize, it's a comedy」就變得相當有意義。點解Arthur會由本身覺得人生是齣悲劇，變到覺得是一套喜劇這？

首先，Arthur因為個社會的沒情加上他的病，讓媽媽賦予他的人生意義「一出世就為世界帶來歡樂與歡笑」沒一次成功實現到。當他知道自己是被領養同虐打到有病，再知道自己原來是有妄想症的時候，他個病先真正好返，而他都可以100%做返自己。在他殺死他養母之前，電影都有透過對白去表達這件事。當中他有提過「that’s the real me」表示他做返真正的自己，再話一路以為自己人生是悲劇，但宜家發現原來是一齣喜劇，之後就殺了他養母。而因為這個媽媽不是親生的時候，這個被加諸在身上的意義就不需要做到，就再構成不到悲劇。而他的人生會變成一齣喜劇，因為在他的世界，所有笑話都是一些最慘的黑色幽默，而他發現的所有真相同過去都是在他世界入面的黑色笑話。他本筆記寫的「有精神病最慘就是啲人期待着你是扮病」這一個笑話更加在這個時候成真，因為他已經醒覺自己本來就沒病，以及他都沒須要再妄想自己是正常。所以當這個笑話Joke成真，他就開始化妝成為Joker，同時他之前有病的所有時刻就真是變成了他的part of act演出的一部分，因為都變成真是扮着病啦。但是這一個啱啱變成Joker的Arthur在未上Murray個show之前，都未真正存在。

本身Arthur去到在後台休息室的時候都仲練習着到時在台上要開槍自殺，在一個位他開始改變主意，慢慢由殺自己變成殺Murray。大家記不記得當他在台上打開筆記話要搵個笑話的時候，鏡頭有特寫到筆記入面的一句「我希望我的死比我的生命更有價值」。這句說話是他仲有病的時候寫，當時作為一個社會邊緣人，他的生命沒意義到他甚至會諗自己有沒存在過。而當他的死可以證明他存在過的話，就一定比他條命更有價值。所以他在個時以為上Murray個節目自殺是有價值，因為大家都會知他存在過。但當他見返這一句的時候，他的片刻思考話比我知他開始覺得自己不應該死。當時他用一個非常正常的邏輯去跟大家講，大家咁關注個3個權貴的死是因為他們的身分地位，但如果變了是好似他這啲邊緣人死，大家眼尾都不會稍他一眼。這句說話就正正表達着他已經知道自己的死是沒價值，而一些欺凌他的人的死反而先會讓他條命更有價值。他殺死了3個華爾街仆街，讓到一班戴小丑面具的人去示威仲舉牌話「We are all CLOWNS」，所以殺死這啲打壓社會階層的人他先會真正存在。之後他對Murray作出最後的控訴，一槍打死了他，同樣地都打醒了這個城市的小丑。在這個時候，他終於由沒存在過的Arthur，一個本來的Clown 小丑，變成真正存在的Joker。同樣地出面班小丑都是一樣，都是一些一直被社會欺壓的人，而因為Joker這一槍，大家終於敢勇武反抗。

講完Arthur變成Joker的心理變化，有少少關於英雄故事的嘢想補充。

如果社會中被認為是「正派」的權貴死了先可以讓Joker條命更加有價值的，咁Joker咪正正是所謂對立的「反派」囉。調轉看，通常都是一些「正派」英雄的死比他們條命更有價值，就好似個3個人咁死了之後咁被社會重視。用Arthur養母個case來講，這啲權貴就是一些大眾渴望他們可以拯救自己的人，所以在戲中可以象徵住所謂的正派。如果用這套諗法去諗，Joker就是間接殺死了本片最大「正派」Thomas Wayne的人。再推深一層，電影中跟Arthur完全對立的就是Bruce Wayne，亦即是小朋友時期的蝙蝠俠。兩個都是第二代，一個是邊緣人的第二代；一個是權貴的。一個是被領養；一個是親生。一個是被虐打到有精神病；一個是被富貴撫養。一個要搵存在價值；一個一出生就有。最後先是重點，一個的人生由悲劇變喜劇；一個是由喜劇變悲劇。記不記得去到最後，Arthur再次返返精神病院，第一個畫面他就在度笑，這個笑已經不是他病發而是真心笑。當醫生問他笑乜的時候，他答又諗着一個笑話。之後個畫面就是Bruce Wayne望住已經死了的父母。其實都是代表住Arthur這個第二代贏了Bruce這個第二代咋嘛，因為Bruce已經由有美滿家庭變成一個孤兒仔喇。

去到這度講了咁久，仲有少少結語。如果一個社會要一個沒罪的人證明自己沒罪，即是好似Arthur要證明被人偷了塊廣告牌咁。又要個個有病看不到醫生，政府漠視民生，貧富懸殊越來越大，市民被欺壓。能夠牽起一場革命的並不會只是因為一個人的反抗，而是因為所有被欺壓着的人都會產生共鳴，一齊出來反抗。而個啲幫政府欺凌的人都不會是沒辜，都必須要接受死亡的報應。城市入面的小丑蒙面，是因為Joker的精神，香港人蒙面，是因為一種打不死的精神。香港人，反抗。

Ernest Docrazy ＞無料案內所＞ERNEST案內所 頻道由2016年4月創立，當時嘗試製作13條影片來斷定頻道初期方向。當時以影評類別成為頻道人氣影片，在一個月內訂閱人數由雙位數升至過萬。2017，因為到了日本留學，Ernest調整頻道方向並製作關於香港人在日生活的影片。2019年，以街訪及其他有趣題材為主，繼續拍攝不同題材的日本相關影片。之後一邊工作一邊拍片，在2020年尾決定將日本相關的一半業務重心移至香港，回流到香港繼續YouTuber及其日本相關的事業。 #香港日本兩邊飛
