Admittedly, I made fumbles and mistakes over the weekend and far from my best performance. Within 4 matchweeks, I was thrown from doing my first solo Premier League coverage in the studio to doing it Pitchside which was a different ball game all together. New systems, new cameras, new framing, the cold, no papers to scribble my thoughts on the match, the havoc and the stadium being so loud sometimes I could barely hear my own thoughts, let alone my guests. Plus the nerves of doing it for the first time. AND the rain ☔️ .

To say it was a HUGE learning curve would be an understatement. I’ve never been this uncomfortable in my life. But I’m embracing it, embracing being uncomfortable. I’m embracing the experience to learn show by show, learning from my mistakes and hopefully one day you guys would be proud of me on the international stage representing Malaysia 🇲🇾 . Learning while being on TV is another thing- to have to face constant criticism about things people don’t see behind the scenes. What the production team goes through, the manic, rush and technical errors which in no way is their fault and there’s nothing that can be done. (And honestly not enough credit goes to those behind the scenes) 💕

These aren’t excuses and I don’t expect pity by stating the reality of things. This is the industry. This is the standard. That is how it is. Just like any other workplace. I get it. You have to hit your mark, either way. As do I. And I just want to say thanks to everyone who stood by me, who helped out, watched me grow through shows.
And like any other workplace, you learn on the job too sometimes. Like players and managers, you grow and learn with the time. Refine your skills. I’ve been overwhelmed by everyone’s responses and I thank you for your positivity especially those who have been with me since Football Overload when I was 20/21 and now approaching 30 in a FEW more years (IN A FEW YEARS OK NOT NOW) 😂 doing Premier League coverage.
You guys are my rock! 😭
I’ve also been so inspired during my time here watching the others do their thing and I hope to fine tune my craft one day to rival the best in the business. Onwards and upwards 💪 @ United Kingdom
