🔖 在這個章節中，Gamma 將列出基本面分析的主要資訊來源，這些資訊源包含了買方分析師以及基金經理人在進行大部位操作時會參考的資料。儘管某些資料對於散戶來說較難取得，但在面對投資決策時，Gamma 認為散戶也需要讓自己針對每一支個股越了解越好，且你會想要加以利用這些資訊來做出投資的決策。

🔖 10-Q / 10-K:
在正常的情況下，10-Q 和 10-K 會給你一間公司所揭露的財務數字，查看 10-Q 和 10-K 的主要目的就是為了讓你可以針對一家公司建立自己的財務預測模型。

10-Q / 10-K：每間公司必須回報給 SEC (美國證管會) 的季度財務數字報告（不需經由審計）；10-K 則是每一年度的財務數字報告（須經由審計）

🔖 S1:
S1 是美國的公司在透過 IPO 上市前所要繳交的文件，SPAC 的對應文件則是叫 S4。S1 會揭露的內容比 10-K/10-Q 的範圍還要廣上許多，除了財務數據外，S1 裡會有事業總覽、事業關鍵風險、產業動態、市場分析、競爭態勢、管理層結構和補助激勵政策....等的詳細內容，比起其他資料，S1 應該要給你最多你必須要知道的企業實情與事實，通常也會比賣方的分析報告所提供的資訊還多，事實上，賣方的報告很多都是直接從 S1 複製貼上的。

另一個我們在 S1 最常關注的焦點是過去 8 季的季度財務數字細節，要上市的公司可以選擇要不要揭露每個季度詳細的財務數字，這些數字是在建立合理的財務模型時是絕對必要的關鍵數據。

🔖 第三方資料:
可以被用來預估一家公司營收的第三方資料會是投資人非常強大的工具，目前專業量化基金之間也為了爭奪這種第三方資料的專利買斷權而爭的頭破血流（買斷這些資料來產生資訊優勢創造超額報酬）。在消費者面向的企業，信用卡資料會是在增加營收預測準確性上最有利的第三方資料，還有其他的第三方資料像是網頁流量、app 下載次數/排行、app 的互動率....等等。

🔖 賣方研究報告:
賣方研究通常只對不想花時間自己做功課的懶人有用，好的賣方分析師往往會提供關於 S1、10-K / 10-Q、業務概覽、第三方資料（雖然資訊範疇通常遠比買方收到的資料小的多）和關鍵論點的良好總結。「認為賣方分析師具有特殊的洞見或更獨特的數據來源」是很多散戶時常誤解的地方，他們的報告通常都沒有這些資訊優勢，賣方研究員的工作，就是將 1000 個買方研究員的研究負擔全部集中到一個賣方研究員身上，這樣買方分析人員就可以依靠賣方分析師的某些研究來減輕其分析的負擔。

🔖 財報發布電話會議 / 券商主辦的會議 / 投資人日:
電話會議在兩個方面很有用。一方面這是直接從管理團隊了解個股交易狀況的最佳途徑，如果管理層是誠實的（他們也應該誠實，否則他們要為誤導投資人負責），電話會議內容是最好的資訊來源。一流的管理團隊可以針對投資人的疑慮來做出解釋與回應，這就是一間好的管理團隊如何主導公司交易論述的方式，來讓該股免於該股的交易論述被賣方分析師所主導。

🔖 專家會議 (Expert calls):
買方分析師可能不是每個產業領域的專家，因此買方分析師要分析超出其專業知識的公司時，他們會傾向於依賴所謂的「專家網絡」來尋求與該領域的專家進行交流。雖然與專家會議的次數往往是衡量買方投資人對一間公司進行盡職調查 (DD) 的衡量標準，但專家會議的實際價值卻非常令人存疑。常見的笑話是專家會議要嘛太有用而可能被視為內線交易，要嘛太籠統而沒辦法做為參考依據。

🔖 通路調查 (Channel checks):
賣方和買方分析師都會在供應鏈中建立一些業內人士 (供應商、分銷商) 的人脈網絡，他們可以在與他們交流的時候理解產業或公司的發展趨勢。通常散戶是無法取得這些人脈資源的，如果散戶可以找到合適的人並與之交流，這可能就是一個合理的超額報酬來源。如果你可以開發自己的人脈網絡以進行通路調查，那將成為你的重要優勢。

🔖 接觸企業管理層的管道 (Corporate Access):
賣方和買方分析師對會與上市企業的 IR Director、CFO 和其他管理層成員建立關係，來討論該司的業務發展狀況，但是美國的 SEC 強制企業在揭露任何新的資訊時必須要公開給其他所有的投資人該資訊，這也讓管理層其實不太願意對任何投資人討論任何又意義的新資訊，也因為如此，只要散戶有追蹤電話會議、券商會議、投資人日的內容，在這塊其實不會有明顯的資訊劣勢。
