Coastal PlayGrove at East Coast Park (former Big Splash) is now OPEN - with the TALLEST Vertical Outdoor Play Structure in SG, and it's even suitable for teens!
Younger kids? They can play at the huge Water Play area, Leisure Climbing Nets, Sand Pit and even an Outdoor Classroom!
We decided to get hot and sweaty on this last day of the long weekend! Yup, we went cycling for almost three hours straight - because rent 2hrs get 1hr free ley - and I was surprised that the girls lasted throughout and didn't complain that they were tired at all.
The boy can't ride a two-wheel bike yet but he was stoked that he could ride on a child saddle on my bike, which even came with footholds and a handle bar that suited him perfectly. How cute! I love ferrying this boy and I amazed myself by conquering all the steep slopes with him and a basket full of bags and stuff without having to dismount and push - woohoo, I'm a Spartan, remember?
Well, the hubby and I even managed to take videos with my phone while cycling at the same time (swipe to see). Not advised at all because you can easily lose balance, but just once or twice for memory keepsake yeah. I also blasted pop songs from my Spotify play list and sang my heart out while cycling at the same time. Shiok!
Halfway through the ride, we also made pit stops for the kids to play, run around and spot insects like grasshoppers and butterflies. As a reward for all their hard work and determination, we all had an ice cream treat at the end - which melted too quickly under the scorching sun. Dinner was spent with the grandparents followed by playground time at not one, but two playgrounds - one even had sand and swings, their fav!
We definitely need to go outdoors more and do this more often!

Ben's General Food Store, the Gardens Mall - huge play structures including two slides and a tunnel. They just recently revamped their menu!
Bucket B Cafe, Jaya One - they make sure the little ones sanitize their hands before going in and on Sundays, they have the world's best balloon artists SUPA DUPA Circus make an appearance!
The Little Owl, Korean Cafe, Publika - enclosed locked play area (so you never lose sight of your kid!), fun and not messy "sand" pit, attached bathrooms, cosy comfort Korean food, no shoes allowed and little sleeping mats for babies
Marmalade, Bangsar Village - yummy food, fun play area, delicious cakes!
The Midnight Baker Bakery & Cafe, Seni Mont Kiara - small and cosy but perfect if you're in the Mont Kiara area!
Namoo Korean Dessert Cafe n Bistro on the park, (upstairs!!) Publika - lovely little play area upstairs w a house, cars, and drawing/arts + craft table!

Out Of Africa Restaurant & Kudu Bar, PJ Palms Sports Centre - eclectic menu w one of the rare restaurants to offer an outdoor play area
Ra.Ft Cafe'/Bistro, Binjai 8 - one of the only cafes downtown w a play area but more than that, they have great food, great service and adorable little babycinos!
Three Little Pigs & the Big Bad Wolf, Bangsar Village - small play area but so convenient if you need to do groceries after!

Jungle Gym, Atria - one of the best paid play areas with a separate soft play area for toddlers. It's an additional cost but Ella Grace really loves the train ride too! Go on Tuesday mornings when it's quiet and just sanitized!!
Kizsport & Gym, Bangsar Village II - Love that it's small enough that they can play on their own without you losing sight of them
KL Bird Park- get up close and personal and don't forget to catch the bird show!
MBO Cinemas Kecil Hall, Starling Mall - So so fun for little ones and for adults too. Convenient facilities and a play area! Book your tickets early especially on weekends, they sell out fast!!

2017年12月12日，芭樂媽出席 大樹先生的家- Mr.Tree (親子餐廳）新裝潢開幕活動, 讓小芭樂請事假一天, 難得的母子約會, 偶而和老大單獨在一起, 讓他知道媽媽不是只有在照顧妹妹, 也有陪他一起玩的時候, 媽媽還是很愛他的~ 從走路去捷運站的路上, 可以看出小芭樂臉上滿足雀躍的笑容, 一直維持到回家還是很開心, 只是在餐廳玩溜滑梯玩得太累了, 喊腳痠, 但最後還是走到捷運站走回家了, 然後很開心的爸爸說, 今天好好玩喔!
大樹先生可以說是整個大改造, 花園外面的溜滑梯、裡面遊戲區的面貌, 都變得很不一樣, 最重要的餐點也變得超級健康, 採用五穀飯、新鮮蔬菜, 調味少鹽、少糖, 口味算蠻清淡的~ 偶爾吃吃健康的餐點, 讓身體無負擔, 很清爽~
另外, 遊戲區照顧孩子的姐姐也很負責任, 會很用心在注意每一個孩子的安全, 因為小芭樂溜滑梯有一次頭先下, 或是從滑梯的地方要走上去, 都被姐姐友善的阻止, 芭樂媽在旁邊注意到這一幕, 覺得他們照顧得很細心, 這樣媽媽才可以安心地在外面吃飯, 孩子在裡面玩~
小芭樂一看到大球池和溜滑梯整個飛奔進去, 完全忽略旁邊好玩的小桌游區, 在球池裡面一直玩, 一直溜, 玩不膩的~ 要回家他還很依依不捨, 一直說怎麼那麼快, 明明就玩了兩個小時多了~
大樹先生可以說是台北市唯一一間, 也是第一間, 擁有自己獨立花園的親子餐廳, 孩子可以到花園跑跳, 大人吃飯也變得格外有情調~
