有食神！朋友邀請又去天一閣食好嘢！新朋友仲帶咗支限量版Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Rose2005 by Vik Muniz! 佢問會唔會太新？其實breathe夠都係好好飮！我一向都喜歡PJ嘅Rose香檳，輕快而有層次，帶紅莓、牛油麵包、礦物、橙花等。而我自己就帶咗支獲得南非「最佳白酒」嘅Kleine Zalze Family Reserve Chenin Blanc白酒去襯，同蟹肉蒸橙好夾，帶出蟹肉嘅甜同白酒嘅圓潤，聽講這道蒸橙菜式係宋朝已經有！估唔到古代咁fancy! 每道心機菜都非常精緻，咁用心嘅功夫菜，希望繼續承傳，我地有口福鳥！
So lucky to join my friend's invitation to try Tasting Court again! Happy to enjoy a glass of Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Rose2005 by Vik Muniz limited edition brought by a lovely new friend! She asked me if it's too young to drink now? I said it's great to drink as long as we've enough patient to breathe! I also love PJ rose champagne for it's lively notes with complexity. It has raspberries, brioche, mineral & orange blossoms. I also brought a South African wine, Kleine Zalze Family Reserve Chenin Blanc, which has been awarded the "best white wine" in SA. It matches so well with the steamed orange with crab and egg white. It brings out the sweetness of the crab meat and the roundness of the wine. This interesting orange dish has been created since Sung dynasty! I couldn't believe that they had such a fancy dish back then! Every single dish there can show the cooking skills and the heart of the chef & kitchen team! I hope the skills can be sustained so that all of us can savour traditional and tasty Cantonese cuisine all the time!
