Loy Krathong is the famous Thai Festival of Lights celebrated on the night of the 12th lunar month (usually in November) to pay respect to the water goddess and make wishes for the coming years ㊗

You might be curious what a paper castle for? Well, it was part of Taiwan lantern festival during 1/25~3/3 in Pingtung. There would be spotlight on it at night then the lights changed & mixed new patterns on it. But I prefer to the pastel colors at daytime more than the lights at night. It looks so fairytale, don’t you think so?🌈

*Meaning of the song's title:
Yume = "dream"
Tourou = "lantern"
There is a tradition called "tourou nagashi" where a paper lantern is set afloat during the last day of the O-bon festival. The lantern lights the way for the souls of the departed to cross back into the afterlife after they visit at O-bon (hopefully I'm correct in the details). So I think this title is meant to give the image of a lantern lighting the way into or out of a dream. I think this song really only makes sense in the context of the movie :)
