I felt especially led to watch the Singapore National Day Parade this year—I was really blessed to watch one of the segments on TV.
At night, a huge glistening Lion was wheeled into the center of the stage, surrounded by many children performing, who were also dressed in shimmering clothes.
A huge audience dressed in red and white filled the stands, cheering and celebrating.
This scene reminded me that amid these dark times we live in, Jesus, the Lion of Judah will suddenly appear again for us who are waiting for Him.
He will meet us in the air, shining and glorious, surrounded by myriads of angels.
We who are covered by His redeeming blood, are also dressed in dazzling white robes of righteousness. The church will cheer and worship Him when we all see Him face to face.
Singapore started as a humble fishing village, just like how many of the apostles started off as fishermen. But when a lion appeared, that village was transformed over the years into the prosperous nation we live in today. An encounter with Jesus the Lion of Judah will transform you.
Let us never forget: it is the red that washes us white as snow!
