#TravelwithValerie: Rome 羅馬 (Italy 意大利) 🇮🇹
Time flies! Been wanting to share some stuff about my Rome trip and vroom there goes more than half a year. So I decided to write this post in English since writing in Chinese will take me even longer (put I'll plug in the Chinese translation after..or some day lol).
So 3 highlights of my Rome trip that I want to share, since Florence mostly consist of shopping which I didn't take much photos of :
1. The hotel I stayed in Rome: Piazza Scanderbeg 117 📍
Extremely close to Trevi Fountain, a boutique hotel that is in a little street just beside it, so definitely quieter than you can imagine living in that area.
The rooms are quite cute and spacious. Very clean even for an OCD person like me. And one thing I really liked about it was their breakfast which offered many variety of healthy options like fruits, yogurts, dry fruits, eggs, bread. So thumbs up for this one 👍🏻
2. Osteria Barberini - my must visit resto for truffles every time I go back, it's just still so good 😭!!
3. Yayy Spanish steps are not under renovation anymore, so nice to sit around in the nice weather and enjoy some gelato or tiramisu from my favorite Pompi . Perfect for a little rest after shopping.
Ok and fine my first time in Rome wasn't that great, since I lost my luggage on arrival for my 2 weeks trip, and going through the whole process of finding it was a pain in the butt. BUT this time I really liked it and I guess partially the warmer weather made a better different. So ciao ciao for now👋🏻
