Hachiko hay Chūken hachikō là tên riêng của một chú chó giống Akita sinh ngày 10 tháng 11 năm 1923 tại thành phố Odate, tỉnh Akita, Nhật Bản và mất ngày 8 tháng 3 năm 1935 tại quận Shibuya, Tokyo. Hachiko nổi tiếng khắp Nhật Bản do trung thành với chủ ngay cả sau khi người chủ đã chết nhiều năm. Chủ là một Giáo sư thuộc Khoa Nông nghiệp trường Đại học Đế quốc Tokyo (nay là trường Đại học Tokyo), đã mua và đưa Hachi (tên thân mật được đặt bởi Ueno cho Hachikō) tới Tokyo. Mỗi buổi sáng, Hachikō theo tiễn chủ tới tận nhà ga Shibuya nơi ông chủ đi tới nơi làm việc và chờ đón ông tại đó đến khi ông trở về vào cuối ngày. Thói quen đó cứ tiếp diễn cho đến ngày 21 tháng 5 năm 1925, khi Ông đột ngột bị nhồi máu và mất ngay tại nơi làm việc. Trong các ngày sau đó, Hachikō vẫn tới nhà ga để chờ đón ông chủ, xuất hiện đúng lúc tàu vào ga. Và cứ mỗi ngày sau đó, chú vẫn đều đặn có mặt tại nhà ga trong 9 năm 9 tháng và 15 ngày cho đến khi mất. Hachiko đã được dựng thành nhiều bộ phim, trong đó có phim Hachi A Dog's tale.

และมีน้อง ๆ แวะเวียนมาให้เราได้ชื่นชมกันด้วยนะคะ
มาเมืองนี้แนะนำให้เดินนะคะ เราได้พบกับน้อง ๆ อาคิตะ ระหว่างทางหลายตัวเลยค่ะ

ใครอยากแวะมาเล่นกับน้องหมาพันธุ์นี้ ก็สามารถเดินทางมาได้ง่าย ๆ

แล้วก็เปลี่ยนรถไฟสาย Local มาที่ Odate ก็ได้ค่ะ
ส่วนเราเดินทางมาจาก Tazawako station นั่ง Shinkansen มาที่ Morioka Station
เปลี่ยนขบวน Shinkasen มาลงที่ Shin-Aomori Station
แล้วก็นั่ง JR มาที่ Odate Station พอมาถึงเราก็จะได้พบกับศาลเจ้าฮาจิโกะ หยอดเงินทำบุญในกล่องข้างหน้ารูปปั้น จะมีเสียงฮาจิโกะเห่าขอบคุณด้วยนะคะ น่ารักสุด ๆ

I hope this video gave you some insight on what life can be like in the countryside of Japan! I love the countryside more as it's less explored by tourists so you really can see this "raw" kind of Japan and understand the local culture and history more.

Each prefecture has it's own speciality and history so what better way to immerse yourself in the culture than to try a homestay experience? :) I know a lot of you are worried if you can't speak Japanese but honestly you will be fine! It's not the language that matters, it's the connection between two people so step out of your comfort zone and try it. Japanese people in the countryside tend to be very friendly too and I'm sure they will give you a helping hand if you are lost even if they don't speak English.

If you do decide to go, let me know how your experience was and also tell Ishigaki-san I said hi! Hopefully she remembers me?! LOL
