【 第78屆金球獎今日舉行 】

由荷里活外國記者協會（Hollywood Foreign Press Association, HFPA）主辦的「第78屆金球獎」（78th Golden Globe Awards），將於香港時間今天（1/3）早上，於加州洛杉磯比華利山舉行，本地觀眾可以透過now寬頻電視的517頻道「Blue Ant Entertainment」收看直播。早前大會邀請《色慾都市》（Sex and the City）著名女星莎拉謝茜嘉柏加（Sarah Jessica Parker）以及《NASA無名英雌》（Hidden Figures）女星Taraji P. Henson透過視像直播方式揭曉。

世紀疫情持續，完全扭轉觀眾的生活習慣，大部份時間只能夠在家追劇，帶挈Netflix再一次成11獲得最多劇集類獎項提名的串流平台，合共入圍20項，較上屆多出三項，反觀去年有15項提名的HBO，今年只得7項入圍。而於2020年曾經兩度掀起煲劇熱潮的Netflix連續劇《艾蜜莉在巴黎》（Emily in Paris）和《后翼棄兵》（The Queen's Gambit），雙雙有份角逐音樂及喜劇組和迷你劇組的最佳劇集，至於兩套劇的女主角莉莉哥連斯（Lily Collins）和Anya Taylor-Joy，則在所屬組別爭奪視后寶座。

現年31歲的Lily Collins，憑《艾蜜莉在巴黎》飾演由芝加哥飛往花都巴黎工作的Emily Cooper而人氣急升，雖然有很多迷認為她演繹角色流於表面，沒有深度，但依然獲得金球獎評審青睞，入圍音樂及喜劇組的最佳女主角，是她入行多年來首度角逐這項殊榮，與《空中小姐》（The Flight Attendant）的嘉莉古高（Kaley Cuoco）、《The Great》的Elle Fanning、《Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist》的Jane Levy，以及《富家窮路》（Schitt's Creek）的Catherine O'Hara爭奪視后寶座。

至於另一套在網上討論度極高的美劇《后翼棄兵》，演繹天才棋手Beth Harmon的24歲「仙氣女神」Anya Taylor-Joy，以大熱姿態入圍迷你劇組的最佳女主角，雖然身處「死亡之組」，另外4位對手分別為曾經成為金像影后的姬蒂白蘭芝（Cate Blanchett）和妮歌潔曼（Nicole Kidman），還有Daisy Edgar-Jones和Shira Haas，Anya要榮登視后一點也不容易，但留意，《金球獎》的評分標準，向來側重評委「我最喜愛」多於演技水平，所以憑《后》劇彈起的Anya，獲獎機會被睇高一線。

男演員獎項方面一樣有睇頭，很多曾經在奧斯卡獲提名甚至得獎實力派，包括阿爾柏仙奴（Al Pacino）、拜仁康斯頓（Bryan Cranston）、麥克雷法路（Mark Ruffalo）、伊芬鶴健（Ethan Hawke）、當哲度（Don Cheadle），都在今屆獲得提名，其中三人：Bryan、Mark和Ethan更齊齊入圍角逐迷你劇組的視帝，爭持激烈。《金球獎》亦同時公布劇集提名數字，《王冠》（The Crown）以6項提名稱霸，《富家窮路》以5項排名第二，《黑錢勝地》（Ozark）和《無所作為》（The Undoing）則齊齊有4項入圍位列第三。

Are you a GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) student? National Central University, AIT’s GLOBE partner, arranged a virtual meeting for 50 teachers and students of the Hsien Tien and Xin Wu Senior High School to meet with program specialist of the Mosquito Project at the GLOBE Implementation Office Mindi DePaola. Ms. DePaola shared her knowledge on mosquitoes, including life cycles and sample collecting. During the Q&A session, these students had many questions about mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases. These two groups of students expect to connect with other GLOBE participants worldwide in the 2021 GLOBE International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS). AIT的GLOBE「全球學習與觀測裨益環境計畫」夥伴 — 國立中央大學正與新店高中和新屋高中合作安裝GLOBE測量設備，讓50位師生能夠從現在到2021年的夏天，針對環境大氣與週遭蚊蟲等進行數據收集。這項蚊子數據量測設備是由美國青年學習與公民環境科學家計畫 (YLACES) 和國立中央大學提供。除此之外，這兩所高中也已設定目標，計畫參與2021年GLOBE國際科學線上研討會 (IVSS)！

National Central University, AIT’s GLOBE Partner, is working with Hsin Tien Senior High School and Xin Wu Senior High School to install GLOBE measurement equipment in order that 50 teachers and students can conduct data collection on mosquitos from now to summer 2021. The equipment was provided by U.S. Youth Learning as Citizen Environmental Scientists (YLACES) and National Central University.
