感謝我的塔大同學塔斯艾瑪告知了這個資訊。
疫情期間,塔州政府釋放了無限名額給50歲以上、有意願繼續深造的人、「免費的」各種領域大學學歷,以及不限年齡的「企管」和「觀光」的碩士前證書,還有「永續」學程證照等等的免費教育。
我有幸申請到了這個Tourism Environment and Heritage(旅遊環境與遺產)碩士前(不含寫論文)課程,是一個完全線上課程。塔斯馬尼亞大學的線上資源好豐富,包含了線上講座、線上活動及在線研討會。這學期我選的課叫做Global issues in Tourism(全球觀光旅遊問題),課程會探討Over-tourism(過度開發旅遊)與生態環境的問題、COVIC疫情對旅遊業造成的影響、(post-pandemic)後疫情時代旅遊業的發展、航空業與觀光農業的轉型等等的課程內容。
山頂洞人,可以這麼說,花了很多時間研究這些網頁按鈕和各個兔子洞,在網路大海中衝浪,好一陣子才摸到點頭緒。從來沒受過西方教育的我,街頭等級的英語能力,有點害怕寫作業⋯⋯
不過,塔大有個24小時學生方案-任何時候在學習上遇到問題都可以尋找協助,還有很多福利課程,例如:如何寫作業、如何考試、如何使用各種軟體、參考資料該如何引用、如何尊重智慧財產權、增進英語能力等等的課程。
另外還有心靈保健的講座:談睡眠(sleep)、氣候變化造成的焦慮(Climate Change Anxiety)、自我疼惜(Self-compassion)、心靈時間管理(Procrastination &Motivation)、了解焦慮(Understanding Anxiety)、孤獨感與建立聯繫(loneliness and making connections)、關係(Relationship)等等等等。
連線上冥想都有(Online meditation),真的讓人超級驚艷的!
這個學期兩個多月,我明天開學😅,接下來這裡會有離家出走系列+時空跳躍?+線上學習分享+我也不知道還會有什麼。那就明天見啦!我要去預習明日的課程了!
