【風雨後的光采 / Change Begins in the Heartland】
最近將召開的「亞太經濟合作」(APEC)年會，還有「聯合國氣候變化綱要公約」(UNFCCC)大會，都好重視在全球氣候變遷下，人類要如何永續發展的問題。
為了更好的未來，台灣也採取了許多在地行動，現在就透過這支短片，一起來向國際社會分享我們屏東林邊的創新方案吧😁

氣候變遷，是全球性的問題，然而它並非遙不可及，而是與你我息息相關。屏東縣林邊鄉是台灣的農漁業重鎮，卻在2009年的莫拉克風災遭受重創，造成電力中斷2個月。面對受損嚴重的家園，許多青年決定返鄉重建。
在社區居民與政府合作下，林邊以「養水種電」、「智慧微型電網」等方式，創發出獨特的解決方案，並在2015年獲得「APEC能源智慧社區最佳案例」銀質獎之肯定，不僅讓林邊成為比記憶中更好的家園，更向世界提供一個可行的永續發展解決方案。
In 2009, Typhoon Morakot destroyed much of Taiwan’s agricultural heartland, including Linbian Township in southern Taiwan's Pingtung County. However, locals rebuilt, with a specific focus put on renewable energy such as solar power and smart-grid technology. Linbian’s redevelopment projects were great successes, and in 2015 their smart micro-grid demonstration park received a silver prize from APEC’s Energy Smart Communities Initiative Best Practices Awards Program. This positive response encouraged locals to share more of their experiences with the global community. It's just one of the ways Taiwan is doing its part to help take on climate change and build a better future for all.
