Noble sport | It had always been on my wish list to watch a bullfighting until I visited Cordoba few years ago. As stunning as it was in Almodovar's movie, one would soon realise the problems with this 'noble sport' when witnessed the blood of the toro and how it was killed by the matador amidst the cheering crowd.
Victor Barrio, a famous Spanish matador, was gored to death in the ring last week and the debate went heated again. Hope his death would make people rethink the ethical issues behind the tradition.
