ไปอ่านเจอความเห็นในกรุปหนึ่ง ทำนองว่าเวลาโพสรูป จำพวกรีวิวหรือแนะนำ ไม่ควรผ่านแอพแต่ง หรือถ้าแต่งก็ควรบอกว่าใช้แอพอะไร

ประเด็นนี้เห็นด้วยมากๆ คือต้องย้อนไปยุคสมัยที่เริ่มมี "ช่างภาพมืออาชีพ" ไหลเข้ามารีวิว "กล้องมือถือ" รวมถึงฐานคนอ่านของฝั่งกล้องก็ตามมาเมื่อราว 3 ปีก่อน

ตอนนั้นเกิดความวุ่นวายสับสนพอตัว เนื่องจากพฤติกรรมฐานผู้ใช้สองกลุ่มนี้ค่อนข้างต่างกันมาก

ฝั่ง Mobile user วัดกันที่ auto แบบหยิบแล้วยิงพร้อมใช้ คนส่วนใหญ่ไม่ต้องการ Manual mode ที่สร้างความสับสนและเกิด User error ได้ง่าย

ฝั่ง Camera user มักเน้นกันที่การรีดประสิทธิภาพ นอกจากจะเปิด Manual mode แล้วยังไป post process อีก

นอกจากนี้การที่ฐานผู้อ่านของฝั่งกล้องตามมาสนใจมือถือมากขึ้น ก็เกิดการดราม่าเล็กๆ ในช่วงนั้นว่า blogger/media ไม่เป็นกลาง เพราะต้องทดสอบที่ ISO, Shutter เดียวกัน ซึ่งเป็นความเข้าใจที่คลาดเคลื่อน แม้แต่สื่อดังระดับโลกก็เน้นทดสอบที่ Auto

ตอนนั้นผมก็ตามอธิบายยกใหญ่ เพราะเค้ายังไม่เข้าใจความต้องการของ Mobile user ที่ต่างจากฝั่ง Camera

ฉะนั้นจะเห็นว่าการรีวิวของผมจะเน้นการใช้ Auto และโหมดตัวช่วย มากกว่าจะเล่น Manual เพราะ Mobile user ส่วนใหญ่ไม่ใช้โหมดนี้

สรุปคือถ้าจะรีวิวหรือแนะนำกล้องมือถือ ควรเขียนกำกับถ้ามีการแต่งเพิ่ม

มันไม่จบแค่นั้น การที่แบรนด์พยายามพัฒนาให้เข้าใกล้ DSLR มากขึ้นก็เริ่มใส่ Manual mode มาให้ ซึ่งถูกใจช่างภาพและคนที่ปรับแต่งเป็น แต่นั่นมันส่งผลกระทบให้กับ End user อยู่ไม่น้อย

เราจะเห็นคำถามซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่าว่าทำไมเข้า Manual mode แล้วหลอดไฟ จอทีวีกระพริบ จนพาลคิดว่าสินค้ามีปัญหา

นั่นคือเหตุผลที่ผมยังมองว่า End user ฝั่งมือถือยังไม่พร้อมเปิดรับสิ่งนี้ ต้องรอเวลาอีกพักใหญ่

ดังนั้น Google และ Apple จึงไม่ใส่ Manual มาให้เพื่อเลี่ยง user error แต่เน้นพัฒนาให้ทุกอย่างจบที่การกด auto
