Miura Shohei joins the cast of TV Asahi spring drama "Ano Toki Kiss Shite Okeba" starring Tori Matsuzaka, Kumiko Aso and Arata Iura. He will play as Haruto Takamizawa the heroine's ex-husband. Starts on April 30 every Friday at 11:15 pm

PLOT:
Nozomu Momochi (Tori Matsuzaka) works at supermarket Yumehana. He is a nice person and doesn't mind helping those in trouble. He also doesn't care about success and doesn't desire to date. In his free time, Nozomu Momochi enjoys reading manga at his home. One day, while he is working at the supermarket, he has a fateful encounter with Tomoe Yuizuki (Kumiko Aso). Tomoe Yuizuki is the writer of popular manga "Seika no Sora,” which is Nozomu Momochi’s favorite manga. Nozomu Momochi is a bit surprised by Tomoe Yuizuki. She seems different from what he imagined. She is rich, lives in a luxurious house, and wears expensive clothes.

Meanwhile, Tomoe Yuizuki loves her work as a manga writer. Her hobby is to attend hula dance classes and going grocery shopping at the supermarket where Nozomu Momochi works. Due to the enormous popularity of her manga, she has also obtained a lot of anti-fans on social media and regularly receives spiteful words from them. She gets tired of all the negativity. At that time, she meets her fan Nozomu Momochi. Spending time together, they become close and she slowly changes. One day, they set out on a trip to Okinawa, but they have an accident. Tomoe Yuizuki never makes it back. Nozomu Momochi doesn’t know how to deal with the sudden loss of someone he likes. At that time, a man named Masao Tanaka (Arata Iura) appears and tells him "Momochi, I am Tomoe."

「A lot of」の言い方に飽きてませんか？

これまで英語を話す多くの日本人と接してきて、ほとんどの方は「沢山の〜」や「大量の〜」を英語で言う際に「a lot of」のフレーズを用いており、他の言い回しで表現している人をあまり見かけたことがありません。今日は「a lot of」と言い変えられる表現を紹介するので、これらも意識して使うようにして、現状の英語力にさらに磨きをかけましょう！

1) A bunch of
→「たくさんの・かなりの数の」
--------------------------------------------------
　
“Bunch”は元々「束ねる」や「束」を意味することから、“A bunch of”は基本的に、同じ種類や同じたぐいの物事がたくさんある場合に使われる話し言葉です。例えば「漫画をたくさん持っています」は「I have a bunch of manga.」になります。
　
✔「沢山」をより強調したい時は「A whole bunch of」。
　
＜例文＞
　
I picked up a bunch of fruits from the grocery store.
（スーパーで沢山フレーツを買いました。）
　
He threw away a bunch of old clothes.
（彼は大量の古着を捨てました。）
　
I took a whole bunch of pictures in Hawaii.
（ハワイでめっちゃめちゃ写真撮ったで〜。）

2) A ton of
→「たくさんの・大量の」
--------------------------------------------------
　
「1000kg」を「1トン」と表すように、本来“Ton”は重量単位を表す単語です。1トン=1000kgと大重量ということから、日常会話では「たくさんの〜」や「大量の〜」の意味として使われるようになりました。上記の“a bunch of”よりも「沢山」の度合いが強いですが、対象は同じ種類や同じたぐいの物事とは限りません。また、日本語の「超〜」と似た表現で、沢山あることを多少大げさに言っている響きもあります。
　
✔“Tons of”も用法と意味は全く同じ。（ロスでは“Tons of”をよく耳にする。）
　
＜例文＞
　
She makes a ton of money online.
（彼女はネットで大金を稼いでいます。）
　
I've got tons of errands to run today.
（今日は用事が山ほどあります。）
　
She wears tons of makeup. I wonder how long it takes her to get ready every morning.
（彼女、めっちゃ厚化粧やな・・・毎朝の準備にどれくらい時間かかってるんやろか。）

3) Plenty of
→「十分な・たっぷりな・潤沢な」
--------------------------------------------------
　
“Plenty”は「十分に」や「豊富に」を意味することから、“Plenty of”は、何かが十分にあること、または必要以上にたっぷりある状況で使われます。例えば、買い出しに行った友達が電話でお酒がいるか尋ねてきて、「お酒は十分にあるから、お茶を買ってきて。」と返答する場合は「We have plenty of alcohol. Can you buy some tea?」になります。
　
✔否定文では使わない。
　
＜例文＞
　
We have plenty of gas. We'll make it to Las Vegas.
（ラスベガスまでのガソリンは十分にあります。）
　
Make sure you rest and drink plenty of fluids. I hope you get better soon.
（ゆっくり休んで、十分に水分補給するように。お大事に。）
　
I got plenty of room in my trunk. I think we'll be able to fit everyones suitcase in it.
（うちの車のトランクは余裕あるし、みんなのスーツケースも入る思うで。）

4) Dozens of
→「数十個の・数十人の」
--------------------------------------------------
　
“Dozen”とは、同じ種類のものが12個のセットになった「1ダース」を意味します。会話では「沢山」というニュアンスを含めて「数十個の〜」や「数十人の〜」などを表す際に“Dozens of”が用いられます。ちなみに、「half a dozen」は「6個」、「a dozen」は「12個（１ダース）」、「2 dozen」は「24個（２ダース）」になります。
　
✔「沢山」をより強調したい時は「dozens and dozens of」。
　
✔「数百個・数百人」は「hundreds of」、「数千個・数千人」は「thousands of」
　
＜例文＞
　
There were dozens of students who didn't receive the email.
（メールを受信していない生徒が数十人いました。）
　
We ordered half a dozen oysters and a pound of shrimp.
（カキを6個、エビを１パウンド[約453グラム]注文しました。）
　
Dozens and dozens of customers complained about their poor service.

Here is a weeks worth of everyday outfits that are inspired by anime/manga/Japanese school uniforms!

I think these are all pretty suitable for daily wear and don't cross the boundary into cosplay (my biggest fear tbh).
I used to be really into dressing like this, but haven't in a while now, so it's fun getting to wear these clothes again 😇

I ended up having to re-film because my space really isn't optimised for fitting in full length shots so this took longer than I was hoping to upload.
Yeah,,,
I still really need to figure out a proper filming space 🥲🥲🥲

Also awks because watching myself model is weird. I normally don't like being able to see the monitor because my eye always wanders over to it, but I had to this time to check the shots.

Ignoring the negative - this is my first outfit video so I'm excited that it's up now; I hope you enjoy it!
