【傳奇型的作者 史迪格拉森（Stieg Larsson, 1954-2004）】
拉森從2001年開始撰寫「千禧」系列小說，2004年完成三部曲後，竟不幸於11月因心臟病突發辭世，來不及看見他寫的首部曲《龍紋身的女孩》(The Girl With Dragon Tattoo)系列小說售出全球超過34國版權、轟動全歐的盛況。
全球暢銷作品《千禧年三部曲》又稱為《憎恨女人的男人》系列，分別為：《龍紋身的女孩》（Man som hatar kvinnor）、《玩火的女孩》（Flickan som lekte med elden）、《空中的城堡》（Luftslottet som sprongdes）三部曲各自再取副標，對此拉森十分堅持。據聞拉森曾對瑞典出版商的編輯表明，書的內容都可以動，唯書名不行。
《龍紋身的女孩》作者史迪格拉森，將一位天才女駭客「莎蘭德」，塑造成謎樣角色：身材瘦削、全身佈滿刺青、性情乖僻，但卻過目不忘、聰明絕頂，而且擁有高超詭譎的電腦技能與調查能力。
