Last month when we kept Arielle home for 3 weeks, I enjoyed the bonding time I had with my daughter but at the same time, I had to make sure she did a bit of learning every day too.
We completed @thejoylearners The Alphabet Club Term 3 in the first week and while waiting for Term 4, we did a recap of Letter A to L through the prerecorded online classes. As compared to worksheets where Arielle can colour, draw, glue, and stick, her attention span for videos are shorter - which is okay! We covered 2 letters, once or twice a day as the online subscription allowed us to go back to it anytime, as many times as we need. Time to time, Arielle will ask me “Shall we listen to Teacher Adeline?”
@thejoylearners provides online learning where it’s curriculum focuses on the teaching of phonics and words. There are weekday learning activities for 4 weeks and online learning sessions.
