Yes I was lost almost everyday because I am not familiar with other prefectures aside from Kyoto (at least I won't get lost here). Like in Hiroshima, Osaka, Okayama, Hyogo and Nara, it isn't easy as hoping on the train and ending up directly at your designated destination because there's definitely tons of walking involved in Japan and Google maps is your best friend!
Always connected to my Google maps because without it think I'll barely survive a day without getting lost 😶 I'm just generally bad with directions and I'm too shy to ask people for it unless necessary (most unlikely because internet lol). Though there are many brands of pocket WiFi these days I personally prefer #Ninjawifi as they are based in Japan making their WiFi connections even more stable than the rest regardless its the city center or rural areas.
