Cucumbers are known for being crunchy and cool 😎 , but they’re also great for your complexion and are a well-known superfood for the skin. They’ve been used in skincare for decades to address common skin concerns like hydration, aging, and inflammation. (They are 96% water!)
Cucumbers are loaded with antioxidants, which are molecules that help fight oxidative damage caused by free radicals. They contain vitamin C, caffeic acid, and folic acid 😚 don’t just we love cucumbers?

Simply juice them! Whether they look funny and maybe over-ripe; they are still great cucumbers!
I like mine as raw juice but it only lasts for 24 hours (packed with more nutrients) but make it last longer, you can steep them for 5-7 mins on low heat. Refrigerator up for 6 days!
You can add more benefits into your mist toner too, add aloe Vera juice and even tea tree essential oils!

夏に食べたいアイスバーのレシピをご紹介します!

アイスバー3種
■パインとローズマリーのアイスバー
6本分
材料:
砂糖 150g
ローズマリー 2本
水 120ml
冷凍パイナップル 565g
レモン汁 大さじ1
作り方:
1. フライパンに砂糖、ローズマリー、水を入れ、中火で熱す。2-3分沸騰させ、火から下ろす。
2. (1)をざるでこし、ミキサーに入れる。冷凍パイナップルとレモン汁を加えてかくはんする。
3. (2)を6つのアイスバー型に流し込み、6時間以上冷凍する。型から出したら、完成!
■ブルーベリーとバジルのアイスバー
6本分
材料:
砂糖 150g
バジル 20g
水 120ml
冷凍ブルーベリー 455g

2 large sprigs fresh rosemary
½ cup water (120ml)
20 oz frozen pineapple (565 g)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preparation:
1. Make the simple syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, rosemary, and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sugar has dissolved, and the rosemary is fragrant. Remove from the heat.
2. Strain the herb syrup through a fine-mesh sieve set over a blender. Add the pineapple and lemon juice. Blend on high speed until smooth.
3. Divide the mixture between 6 ice pop molds. Freeze until solid, at least 6 hours.
4. Enjoy!
■Blueberry Basil Ice Pops
for 6 ice pops
Ingredients:

2. Strain the herb syrup through a fine-mesh sieve set over a blender. Add the strawberries. Blend on high speed until smooth.
3. Divide the mixture between 6 ice pop molds. Freeze until solid, at least 6 hours.
4. Enjoy!

材料:
臺灣鳳梨1個
奇異果1個
美國華盛頓紅蘋果1個
程序:
1. 鳳梨,切兩端,放砧板上切去表皮,1開4,去芯,切細舊,放碗中。
2. 奇異果,1開2,用不鏽鋼匙羹起出果肉,每邊1開4。
3. 蘋果,去皮,去芯。
4. 隨意放適量水果入攪拌器,加入凍開水至600毫升左右,打勻。
5. 杯內放冰粒,加入已攪拌好的果汁。
6. 完成,可享用。
Kiwi apple juice with Taiwanese pineapple
Ingredients:
Taiwanese pineapple 1 No.
Kiwi 1 No.
US Washington red apple 1 No.
Steps:
1. The pineapple, cut both ends. Put it on chopping by peeling it vertically. Put in a bowl.
2. The Kiwi, divide it into 2 shares. Get the flesh with a stainless steel spoon. Divide each side into 4 shares.
3. The apple, get it peeled and removed the core.
4. Put certain amount of fruit in blender with water 600ml. Blend well.
5. Put ice cubes into mug. Pour the juice into it.
6. Complete. Serve.

For this episode, we went down to Machan’s Kitchen at Little India to devour a $100 Indian Curry Platter! Machan’s Kitchen serves traditional South Indian cuisine - ranging from curries to authentic Indian desserts - allowing you to taste the whole of Southern India conveniently in the cosily decorated restaurant.
We lavishly plated over 20 dishes onto giant banana leaves, forming a tantalising albeit messy array on the table. The food generally had the base flavours of South Indian cuisine, spicy, heavily flavoured with Indian spices and rich and hearty. The dishes that really caught my attention would be the Chicken 65, the Mutton Curry and the paratha.
The Chicken 65 was tender and spicy but with a pleasant acidic zing from the lemon juice added that cut through the heat and elevated the strong spice blend used on the chicken. The mutton curry was similarly spiced and spicy, but with an element of a deep meaty flavour from the long cooking process to cook the mutton. The mutton was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The paratha was fluffy, with each bite packed with the rich buttery flavour from the ghee used in the dough. It went exceptionally well with all the side dishes given.
Unfortunately, I was unable to request for less chilli in the dishes, so each dish was actually overwhelming spicy for my relatively weak chilli palate. For those who enjoy spicy food, eating here would be a treat, but it became rather painful for me towards to end. This would be a great place to share food with friends or family, especially if you are looking for authentic South Indian cuisine with a focus on Indian curries. Do give Machan’s Kitchen a try for a fantastic Indian Curry Feast!
